During the Spring Festival, the fire situation in Xining City was generally stable, according to statistics: from January 31 to February 6, 2022, the city's fire rescue team received a total of 65 police dispatches, including 48 fires, 17 emergency rescue and social assistance, a total of 145 fire fighting vehicles, 692 rescue personnel, 23 evacuations and rescues, and no fires with a larger or more social impact.
During the festival, the Municipal Fire Rescue Detachment combined with the national epidemic situation and the requirements of epidemic prevention and control in the province, timely analyzed and judged the fire risk situation, adjusted the focus of fire prevention and control, and focused on commercial complexes, communities, rural areas, religious temples, commercial markets and restaurants that continue to operate, fireworks and firecracker business sites and other fire-prone places and high-risk areas of fire safety, carried out special inspections and wrong-time inspections during the festival, dispatched 84 inspection teams, inspected 247 units, and found and supervised the rectification of 364 fire hazards. During the Spring Festival holiday, the frequency of household and house fires, grass, trees and garbage fires in Xining City was relatively high, accounting for more than 90% of the total number of fires. The fire department reminds that after the holiday, it is more necessary to ensure fire safety, residents should consciously do "three clearances and three passes" when leaving home, travel needs to standardize the parking and charging of electric vehicles, and the sockets with old or low safety performance in the office should be replaced in time, and too many electrical appliances cannot be plugged in, so as to avoid overload operation.
