There are many students who sing with insufficient breath, resulting in a lack of breath flow in the song.
Breathing problems in singing. Different breathing methods will make the shape of each sound cavity different, and it will also produce different sound effects, and the main breathing methods are the following four:
1. Clavicle breathing. When inhaling, the shoulders are raised high, the arms are lowered when exhaling, and the lungs are small and large (shrugging), so the breathing method is smaller, and it is inefficient to breathe in this way when speaking. This is the wrong way to breathe and is not suitable for singing.
Second, chest breathing. The chest expands outwards on inhale, shortens inwards on exhalation, and centers in the inhale. Most friends who have not learned singing skills will use this method to sing, in fact, this method is still wrong, it can not support long tones.
3. Abdominal breathing. The abdomen pushes down and outward on inhale, while on exhalation, the abdomen adducts upwards and inwards. This is a type of deep breathing that uses shortening and compression of the abdominal muscles to greatly increase the amount of inhalation and the depth of breathing. The abdominal muscles shorten and increase the abdominal pressure, which pushes the diaphragm upwards, adding pressure to the chest cavity, so that the air in the lungs exhales forcefully. Abdominal breathing is much better than the above two methods, but this method is not very flexible to control breath, and the sound is easy to stiffen.
4. Chest and abdomen breathing. That is, chest breathing and abdominal breathing are combined, and there is a transphrasum between the chest lungs and the abdomen, and breathing is controlled by the diaphragm. If the diaphragm can be used when inhaling, the amount of inhalation can be greater, the use of breath is more flexible, and individuals recommend singing with chest and abdominal breathing.
Breath Practice Method:
First, smell the flowers
This training method is no stranger to everyone. This is the best way for beginners to understand. This method is to inhale through the nose. Be natural and relaxed and avoid sucking hard and causing your chest to lift up. Experience the relaxation of the lower abdomen and the relaxation of the chest at this time. A slight bulge in the lower abdomen is the state of inhalation, and the adduction of the lower abdomen is an exhalation state. Focus on the changes in the lower abdomen, and be sure to make sure that the chest is stretched and unobstructed.
2. Scale exercises
This exercise needs to be sung by roll name, and the main purpose is to strengthen the control of the breath, to strictly follow the ventilation point, and to make the sound rich on the breath. At the beginning of the sound, it is necessary to prepare the breath for each subsequent sound, can not miss a large part of the breath with one mouth, and the breath should be fast and deep when changing, and the breath needs to be controlled. If you can't do four bars and one breath at the beginning, you can change three bars and one change, and you can slowly achieve abundant breath and strong breath control.
3. Paper blowing exercises
Take a facial tissue paper that we usually use, unfold and put it on the wall and blow it with air, so that the paper will not fall on the ground, at this time we can repeat the practice 4-6 times.
