People's Daily Chongqing, February 8 -- On February 7, the second phase of the new project of Chongqing Asia-Europe Auto Parts Factory, the first zero-carbon emission auto parts manufacturing base in China, was built by the installation branch of China Construction Third Bureau and The Third Company.

At the project site, the roar of the machine and the shuttle of personnel presented a busy scene. "We made careful deployment preparations before the festival in order to achieve a 'good start' on the first day after the festival." Project Manager Lu Sipeng introduced.

It is understood that the first and second phases of the project have a total construction area of 134,000 square meters, which is a key project of Chongqing Liangjiang New Area, which is the first new energy vehicle plant of Geely Holdings in Chongqing, and will be used for the production of Polestar high-end new energy vehicles.

Huang Zhijun, secretary of the party committee and general manager of the installation branch of the third company of China Construction Third Bureau, introduced that the production base has dug deep into the potential of carbon emission reduction from five aspects: green planning, green design, green production, green supply chain and green management. For the first time in the domestic auto parts manufacturers, the use of electric energy drying furnace and RTO waste gas incinerator, while the use of anodizing instead of the traditional phosphating process, the use of high-temperature sealing technology, compared with the traditional coating can save 11.585 million kWh per year, equivalent to 12,000 ordinary households electricity consumption. Various carbon emission reduction measures will promote the base to build the country's first zero-carbon auto parts manufacturing base, lead the automotive industry to improve in the direction of green and low-carbon cycle, improve the level of cleaner production of enterprises, and reduce pollutant emissions.
