On July 22, 2021, Chifeng and Tongliao cities thoroughly implemented the decision-making and deployment of the autonomous regional party committee and jointly signed the Memorandum of Cooperation on the Coordinated Development of Tongliao City in Chifeng City, which opened a new chapter in accelerating the construction of the "Gemini Constellation" of the regional center city of Mengdong. On the basis of friendly consultations, Tongliao and Chifeng have carried out all-round, multi-field and deep-level regional cooperation, and cooperation is being carried out in all aspects in 29 aspects of the four major areas.
At present, Tongliao City is actively promoting the interaction and co-construction of the "Gemini Constellation" regional center cities of Tongliao and Chifeng, promoting the cooperation between the two sides from the people's livelihood and social undertakings to the field of industrial economic development, and striving to achieve a number of pragmatic results in industrial docking and complementarity, key park construction, and major project cooperation.
