In the first round of the previous competition, the top 30 of the 40 contestants advanced to the final round. China's Peng Qingyue scored 31.3 points, ranking 38th, while Dong Bing scored 57.3 points, ranking 31st. Both stopped in the first round.
Each player in each of the two rounds has one chance to play, and the score of the two rounds is added up to the final result.
In the first round, Germany's Althaus (121.1 points), Slovenia's Bogataj (118 points) and Kriznal (113.9 points) were in the top three places in the first round.
In the final round, Slovenia's Bogataj scored 121 points, with a total of 239 points to win the gold. Germany's Althaus scored 115.7 points and won the silver with a total score of 236.8. Slovenia's Krizner scored 118.1 points and won the bronze with 232 points on aggregate.
