Hangzhou, February 5 (Xinhua) -- On February 4, the opening ceremony of the Beijing Winter Olympics was held in Beijing. The reporter learned from the Zhejiang University of Communication that the song "The World Is Flying" planned and initiated and lyricized by Liu Changmei, an alumnus of the school and a macao director, was officially launched. She said that although she is in Macao, she still hopes to use her profession to do something for the Winter Olympics and let the world hear China's voice.

It is reported that the song was jointly initiated by famous singer Chen Sisi, actor Wang Kai, Huang Jue, Sun Qian, race walking Olympic champion Wang Liping, Huading Award founder Wang Haige, singer String Zi, gymnastics Olympic champion Li Shanshan, singer Xu Ziwei, Zhen Zhenzhi inheritor Yang Yuanzhi, Macao entrepreneur Ma Zhida, Macao musician Huang Weilin, Jiang Xinying, etc., planned and written by Liu Changmei, and supervised and composed by the famous Macao music producer Li Junyi.

The song was sung by young artist Li Yugang and a number of Macao singers to express their blessings to the Athletes of the Beijing Winter Olympics and the Winter Olympics. This is also the first collaboration between mainland musicians and Macao musicians to wish the Beijing Winter Olympics.

Liu Changmei, chief planner and lyricist, hopes that through the song "Let the World Race", the world will hear the blessing voice of Macao and feel the vitality and upward spirit of Macao people after the return. "Using 'Let's Fly in the World' as the title of the song is not only a concise summary of the propaganda of the Winter Olympics, but also to show China's great power responsibility." (End)
