Germany's Nordic biathlon triple gold king tested positive for the new crown isolated from another teammate and may not be able to participate in the Winter Olympics

On Friday, local time, the German team announced that German Nordic biathletes Eric Flenzier and Terrance Webb, who arrived in Beijing on Thursday, tested positive for the new crown virus.

Eric Flenzier won three Olympic gold medals and six medals in his career, and Weber and four other German athletes initially tested positive. However, the other four athletes were all negative after retesting, and only Weber remained positive.

Previously, German figure skater Seget was quarantined after testing positive, which forced the German team to withdraw from the team pair skating event.

Athletes who want to return to competition and training need to be asymptomatic and offer two negative tests within 24 hours to lift the isolation.
