During the Spring Festival, the weather in Xi'an is sunny, the holiday encounters good weather, everyone has driven out, and the surrounding popular tourist areas have begun to appear congestion.
Perhaps because of the impact of the epidemic some time ago, most Xi'an people are still more cautious, even if they travel only around the city. In areas slightly farther away from Xi'an, there are very few Xi'an tourists.
On the third day of the Chinese New Year, my family and I set off from Xi'an by car to visit friends in Baishui County, Weinan City. In the past, when we went to Baishui, we all took the Beijing-Kunming Expressway, crossed Pucheng, and took the 201 Provincial Highway north to Baishui. This time, we changed a new road, first to the east to the Lianhuo Expressway, and then in Huazhou Chishui Interchange to Yulan Expressway all the way north. The whole highway is about 170 kilometers, and the journey takes about 2 hours.

Elm Blue Expressway
There are very few cars along the way, especially after getting on the Yulan Expressway from the Chishui Hub, there are only a few vehicles driving on this highway at the same time as us, and the green on the navigation map is pleasant.
This is our first run of the Elm Blue Highway. The Yulan Expressway is a north-south expressway from Yulin City in northern Shaanxi province along Suide, Qingjian, Yanchuan, Yichuan, Huanglong and straight down Baishui, Pucheng, Weinan, and to Xi'an Lantian, with a speed limit of 100 km/h in the Guanzhong Plain. Because of the lack of cars, the speed limit of 100 kilometers is a bit low, and the car speeds up with a little fuel.
On the Yulan Expressway, the section from Pucheng to Baishui is on the east side of the original Provincial Highway 201. Compared with the provincial highway, the scenery along the highway is more magnificent, especially the section through Yaoshan Town and Hanjing Town, the North Mountain line is covered with snow, which is very spectacular. Unfortunately, there were many people in the same car, and I sat in the back seat and failed to take pictures of the scenery along the way.
Because of the epidemic some time ago, we were still worried that the trip would be blocked, and after arriving at whitewater, we found that we only needed to scan the health code and the itinerary code. Later, when we arrived in Pucheng, the same was true.
Pucheng and Baishui counties are adjacent to the north and south, both in Weinan City, and are geographically in the transition area from the Guanzhong Plain to the Loess Plateau, commonly known as "Weibei". The culture and history here are thick, the natural scenery is magnificent, and the cuisine is also very distinctive.
