The Modern Express reporter learned that "Red Lady" has been performed for 13 years since its premiere in 2008, and it is a drama that is often performed by The Kun Theater in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, and the Su Kun style is strong, and the characteristics of Nankun are prominent. The play is compiled and adapted from the legendary book of "Nanxi Xiang", with the famous Kunqu opera performance artist Yu Jiulin as the producer and producer, Liang Guyin as the artistic director, and Lu Fuhai as the director. The whole drama is divided into 20% off, namely "Amazing", "Lai Marriage", "Sending Cambodia", "Jumping off the Wall chess", "Listening to the Piano", "Good Period", "Copying Red", and "Farewell". The play takes the Red Lady as the main line, uses the musical elements of the traditional Kunqu opera brand, the unique performance form of Kunqu opera with songs and dances, runs through the humorous and witty comedy style, and deliberately highlights the unique performance characteristics of the Kunqu Liudan industry.

In May this year, after the comprehensive processing and upgrading, "Red Bride" made a new appearance, which was refreshing. The whole drama has made fine adjustments from many aspects such as choreography, scenery, music, singing, costumes, etc., and integrates the delicate and gentle Jiangnan charm into it, showing a delicate and beautiful classical picture. According to reports, compared with the previous traditional version, the singing section and performance details added in this adaptation make the plot more fluent, the characters more full and three-dimensional, and some plots related to the story but not suitable for stage performance are processed into dark scenes, and under the premise of not losing the storyline, the mental status of the Six Dan characters in the overall situation is more prominent, so that the audience can see more enjoyable. On the basis of traditional Chinese garden aesthetics, the stage design draws on the elements in the Ming Dynasty painter Min Qiling's print "West Chamber", combines virtual and real, and embellishes the local color prints on the white background, so that the overall atmosphere is light and flexible, and the paintings inside and outside the painting cover each other, and each scene presents a classical meaning.
