It is reported that the two were awarded the first class merit once last year. Ding Yang is a special pilot of the Navy and a flight instructor of carrier-based aircraft. Since joining the army, he has studied hard, practiced hard flight, flown safely for more than 2600 hours, and won 2 second-class merits and 3 third-class merits. In November 2021, he was awarded the first class merit. On December 28, 2021, his group of carrier-based aircraft flight instructors was awarded the title of "Model of the Times" by the Central Propaganda Department.
Roshenko, enlisted in the army in September 2007, is a first-class pilot in a naval department. Since his service, he has been awarded the third class merit and the second class merit once each. In March 2021, because of his outstanding achievements in the preparation training, he was awarded the first class merit. Coming to Ding Yang's home, the teachers and students sat together, eating snacks from their hometown, while recalling the bits and pieces of learning carrier-based aircraft flight together. In 2018, Luo Shengke passed the selection and became a carrier-based aircraft pilot, and Ding Yang was already a carrier-based aircraft flight instructor at that time. "I remember once, I had a technical problem that I didn't understand very well, and Instructor Ding used the weekend to take me to the simulation room and teach me the operation by hand." Roshenko still remembers it vividly.
With the help of Ding Yang, Luo Shengke quickly obtained the qualification certification of the day aircraft carrier. "What should I do if I encounter difficulties?" He always takes the initiative to study, train hard, through thousands of hammers, through paying more efforts than others, more time, and finally able to overcome this kind of problem encountered, improve his technical level, and finally rise to a new height both psychologically, technically, and ideologically. Ding Yang was particularly impressed by Luo Shengke at that time.
In the process of teaching, Ding Yang not only taught Luo Shengke's flying skills, but also taught him the sacred mission that he should shoulder as a carrier-based aircraft pilot.
