We found that after a few years of lifting, most recipients were in much better shape than they were when they weren't.

The 50 people underwent the first skinlift, and we objectively assessed several key parts of their faces and marked them in the figures. The following figure is the effect of the preoperative and postoperative photos of the recipients superimposed together, with a time span of 5.5 years.
