According to Xinhua News Agency reported on January 30, the Judicial Police Department of the Macao SAR Government held a press conference on the 30th to announce the follow-up investigation of a case involving a criminal group, illegal gambling and money laundering in November 2021, and has arrested two suspected Macao men involved in the case.
At the press conference, the police released some of the evidence collected. The Police Department said the two people arrested were Macau men surnamed Chen, 49, and Cai, 34, who reported businessmen who were responsible for operating criminal syndicates and providing assistance, respectively.
