Bulls vs Pistons: Bulls have a large number of reinforcements before the new season, and the strength on paper has increased

The No. 21 Bull challenged the Pistons on the road to kick off the road. After a large number of reinforcements before the offseason, the Bulls' paper strength has strengthened, and I think we can focus on looking forward to it.

Bulls vs Pistons: Bulls have a large number of reinforcements before the new season, and the strength on paper has increased

The Little Caesars Arena will host the Chicago Bulls and Detroit Pistons at home Wednesday night. Bulls first-year head coach Billy Donovan finished 10 games with under 500 and the season is strong. Chicago began their ascent by buying All-Star C Nikola Vucevic (21.5 points per game) from Orlando before last season's trade deadline. Last time out, Chicago beat Memphis 118-105 at home, ending an unbeaten preseason game. All-Star Gzak Lavin scored a game-high 31 points on 9-of-18 shooting.

The Detroit Pistons are also working on a rebuild, with their core player being first-pick pick Cade Cunningham. The Pistons (20-52) are more competitive than their records suggest, with head coach Dwane Casey's side ranked 16th in defensive efficiency. F. Geralmi Grant (22.3 points per game) performed well in his new jersey and scored a lead in Detroit. On Friday, Detroit led by 11 points at the end of halftime and won 112-108 at home to Philadelphia. Jeramie Grant scored 24 points and eight rebounds, leading all scorers.

Detroit G.K. Cade Cunningham, who is treating for a right knee injury, is listed as a player with problems with this game. The Bulls will be on a big step this season and will make a statement on opening night. Chicago focused on the arc in preseason, using its athleticism and flair to take down the basket and dominate the glass. The Bulls ranked second in defensive rebounds and total rebounds in preseason. They are also in the top three in assists, turnovers and steals. Don't sleep on Alex Caruso this season. He had reason to win the NBA's Sixth Man of the Year Award. Caruso can thrive on this role, just like he did for four years with the Los Angeles Lakers. In this preseason, he leads the Bulls in assists/turnover ratios and speed, and second only to LaVine in terms of effective shooting percentage and true shooting percentage. Finally, despite the poor record of the past few years, the Bulls have made up the gap in each of their last seven games against the Pistons.

Recommended: Bull -8.5
