This is a photograph of a Volunteer soldier killed by enemy aircraft bombing, his face visibly swollen, his left foot bent, and his waist free of grenades that had not been thrown.
The war is really cruel, this soldier has been sacrificed, we don't know his name, we don't know his relatives, we only know today's peaceful life, with his share of merit, where there are some years of quiet, just a group of lovely people carrying the weight for us to move forward.
