As we all know, Wu Zetian is the first and only female emperor in the history of the mainland, but her life is also full of many ups and downs and stories. Wu Zetian was the daughter of the founding hero of the Tang Dynasty, Wu Shiyan, who was talented and beautiful, and grew up to be outstanding.

Because Wu Zetian was born beautiful, there was a lot of order between the one and the other, and there was a charm on her body, so Li Shimin called her "Mei Niang", which is the origin of Wu Mei Niang.
However, although fate gave Wu Zetian a good start, it did not give her a good process. After becoming a talented person, Li Shimin began to ignore Wu Zetian, and even for 12 consecutive years she did not make any progress.
In fact, this is related to the prophecy of Yuan Tiangang and Li Chunfeng, who were in charge of night viewing the sky: Tang San died in the third generation, and the heroine Wu Shi replaced it, and there was Li Xing of the Wu Dynasty.
Once Li Shimin did not care, thinking that Wu Zetian was a weak woman who was only fourteen years old, and could not set off any storms and waves, and could not shake the big tree of the Li family.
But later, Li Shimin had a horse called "Lion Horse", which was fat and strong, and had a strong personality, and no one had ever been able to tame it.
But when Wu Zetian learned of this, he said to Li Shimin, "I can subdue it!" I first smoke it with an iron whip, and if it does not obey, I will knock it on the head with an iron rod, and if I do not obey, I will cut his throat with a dagger! ”
After hearing this, Li Shimin superficially praised Wu Zetian for his superior strategy, but in his heart he was decisive and vicious in her killing, and he was afraid, and once such a person was given a high position, the consequences would be unimaginable.
Not long after, Li Chunfeng visited late at night, and he calculated the fortunes of the Tang Dynasty: "Li Xing of the Wu Dynasty". Even more directly determined the "female protagonist Chang", Li Shimin could not sit still, threatening to kill all the women surnamed Wu in the world, Li Chunfeng quickly blocked, saying: "The Mandate of Heaven cannot be violated." ”
However, this incident made Li Shimin unable to sleep for a long time, and Wu Zetian's brilliant performance also made him jealous, which made Wu Zetian, who was already unfavored, even worse.
In 649, on his deathbed, Li Shimin summoned Wu Zetian and asked, "If you were gone, what would you do?" ”
Li Shimin is an emperor, and if the king is not cruel, this question is to test Wu Zetian.
Wu Zetian immediately responded: "Green Lantern Ancient Buddha, this remnant of life!" As soon as Li Shimin heard this, he relaxed his heart and thought that Wu Zetian would not pose any more threats, so he sent these childless concubines to the Ganye Temple.
However, the direction of fate is often unexpected, earlier when Li Shimin was seriously ill, Li Zhi, who was pushed as the crown prince by the eldest son Wuji and others, was filial piety, so he often went in and out of the palace to serve his father, and when he came and went, he secretly had an affair with the young and beautiful Wu Zetian.
However, due to the identity and status of the two, this feeling is always invisible. In 649, Emperor Taizong of Tang died and Li Zhi succeeded to the throne. Although according to the regulations at that time, concubines who had never given birth were required to enter the Ganye Temple to cut their hair and become nuns.

And entrusted people to Gaozong. In May 650, when Emperor Gaozong of Tang took advantage of emperor Taizong's death anniversary to enter the temple of Ganye Temple, Fu and Wu Zetian met, and the two recognized each other and exchanged thoughts after parting.
The so-called golden wind and jade dew met, they won countless victories in the world, and the feelings that had to be suppressed because of their identity were finally released. At this time, Li Zhi was already the supreme king, and the poor life in the Ganye Temple had long been tired of being a beautiful woman.
The two hit it off, and their feelings heated up day by day, all of which was seen by Empress Wang. Although Empress Wang was born noble, she gradually declined due to the lack of children under her knees. In view of this, she made a bold decision: she took the initiative to ask Li Zhi for orders and included Wu Zetian in the palace.
Li Zhi took her back to the palace. With the help of Li Zhi, Wu Zetian finally ascended to the throne of the empress. At this moment, Wu Zetian's ambitions above ten thousand people under one person were gradually expanding, and she wanted not only the harem, but the entire court. After Li Zhi's death, Wu Zetian also used his own wrist and courage to step by step ascend to the emperor's throne.
From the official accession to the throne in 690 to his death in 705, Wu Zetian reigned for a total of 15 years, and in the 15 years Wu Zetian made a series of praiseworthy achievements in recruiting talents, developing agriculture, and recovering the border.
Wu Zetian really fulfilled Li Chunfeng's prophecy, "Wu Dai Li Xing", but Wu Zetian returned Jiangshan to his son at the end of his life, and Jiangshan finally returned to Li's hands.
Wu Zetian is the only female emperor in history, and there are many more stories about her.
