Although this season of drama is slightly inferior to the 2018 so-called Renaissance year, there are also many masterpieces. For example, the sequel to the popular work "Baseball Hero", "MIX". Among the many new fans, it should still be regarded as a unique work.

As I said just now, in the past few years in the animation industry, countless classic old works or remakes, or sequels, have handed over their own answers. The quality is different, and the evaluations are different, but for the remake of classic works, it is generally believed that animation companies gradually lack new materials in the industry and play the safety card in the case of recession.
However, the comic edition of MIX began in 2012.
Of course, this is also a series that will be opened again 26 years later - when it comes to "MIX", it is impossible not to say "Baseball Heroes". Although the plot of these two works is not continuous, at most there are only a few common characters, but the sports sentiment of dreaming koshien is still a little bit.
As one of Japan's mass sports, baseball has an unstoppable charm. In the era when youth is the most soaring and exciting, gambling on dreams and trying to move forward has to be said to be a kind of romance.
And 26 years after the legend of the Uesugi brothers, another pair of brothers knocked on the door of Mingqing Academy——
But that's where the story begins.
What follows, of course, is youth, hard work, entanglement, doubt, abandonment, carrying, fighting... The stories of young girls will be passed on forever.
Of course, I have to say that in 2019, the animation of "MIX" is far from the mainstream.
First of all, the painting style is still the ancient painting style of Teacher Anda Chong. Although in that era, Anda Chong's painting style could be regarded as rounded and beautiful, after the change of the times, it may not be suitable for the current audience.
Secondly, from the plot point of view, "Baseball Heroes" and "MIX" are different from orthodox sports comics.
If "Soccer Boy" is the starting point of superpower sports comics, and "Slam Dunk Master" is the peak of realism to basketball, then "Baseball Hero" has none
Doubt is the most emphasis on love and affection, as far as possible from as many angles to describe athletes and the people around them, gentle is a sports comic. The same goes for MIX.
Such a sequel to a classic work may seem a little old in today's eyes. However, it is precisely because of the variety of works that it is possible to meet the requirements of various audiences.
Even from this point of view, MIX is a successful tribute to the old era.
