In accordance with the requirements of the provincial and municipal procuratorates on the special action of "protecting the buds with a sword" and in order to protect the healthy growth of minors, on the evening of January 28, the Daxiang District People's Procuratorate and the Daxiang District Public Security Sub-Bureau conducted a joint inspection of bars, KTV, hotels, Internet cafes and other entertainment venues within its jurisdiction, and the Daxiang Procuratorate's uninspected cadres and procuratorial cadres responsible for public interest litigation participated in the inspection.
During the joint inspection, the cadres and policemen inquired in detail about the situation of the management staff of the entertainment venue in verifying identity information, carrying out real-name registration, and implementing epidemic prevention and control, and carefully checked whether hotels, hotels, bars, and Internet cafes had signs such as "minors are restricted to entry" in conspicuous positions, and checked the employee roster and the reception registration roster to see whether minors were hired and received minors in violation of regulations.
In this operation, a total of more than 20 entertainment venues of various types were inspected, more than 100 people were verified, and a small number of places were found to have illegal employment of minors, and they were ordered to rectify within the same day. During this law enforcement inspection, the cadres and policemen explained to the operators the law, prompting them to realize the importance of protecting minors and the serious consequences that may be caused by hiring or accepting minors. Procuratorial cadres and policemen also inspected whether each entertainment venue had applied for a business license and whether there were potential safety hazards in the entertainment venues. The operator said that in the future, it will operate in strict accordance with laws and regulations and strictly prevent incidents of infringement on minors in entertainment venues.
In the future, the Daxiang Procuratorate will further implement the special action of "protecting the buds with a sword", give play to the procuratorial supervision function, strictly and severely crack down on sexual abuse of minors with a high-pressure posture of "zero tolerance", increase publicity and education on juvenile crimes, and strive to create a good social environment for the healthy growth of minors.
