A major traffic accident occurred in Mexico: a truck lost control on the highway and overturned in a ditch next to the highway. According to Reuters, the accident has killed 13 people and injured 10 others.
Reuters said the accident occurred near the city of Lagos de Moreno. On the highway connecting Guanajuato and Jalisco, photos from local emergency services showed a black van overturning in a ditch next to the highway, with a broken windshield.
The agency also said 12 people were killed at the scene of the accident, including two children, and another later died in hospital.
