Mexico City, 29 Jan (Xinhua) -- A traffic accident occurred in the central Mexican state of Jalisco on 29 January, killing 12 people and injuring 11 others.
According to news posted on social media by the Jalisco State Civil Protection Department, a touring bus broke out of control and overturned the highway while driving near the city of Lagos de Moreno in the state on the same day, causing casualties.
According to local media reports, 1,015 people died in traffic accidents in Jalisco in 2021, the third-highest number of traffic fatalities in Mexico.
