The West Coast Campus of Ocean University of China is planned to have a total construction area of about 1.85 million square meters and accommodate 20,000 students. The campus will be built in three phases, and the first phase of construction will be completed in 2022, when the number of students will reach 7,000, and the focus will be on engineering and applied disciplines.
The first phase of the project includes a learning complex, an electronic information building, a computer building, an engineering building, etc. The Electronic Information Building is one of the first projects to start construction on the campus, the first project to be capped, and the Computer Building is the second project to be capped.
