Trailer for "Chasing the Ball"
I believe that many friends who love to watch anime and Japanese dramas are familiar with baseball terminology such as "home run", "red no let", "running base", "safe base" and so on.
But when asked what the real meaning of these words represents, very few people can say them in full.
In fact, baseball was brought back to China by overseas Chinese and international students at a very early age.
Like soccer basketball, baseball has always had a loyal fan base, but because of the limitations of the venue, there are few opportunities to practice it in person.
As for the rules of baseball, I only know a little bit about it.
China has long been known as the "big country of small balls".
In order to let everyone know more about the sport of baseball and feel the charm of it, this time Uncle Liang and the MLB Baseball Development Center together recorded a group of teenagers who love baseball with the camera.
At a time when baseball is still a niche sport, how do they stick to their dreams and work hard for it?
This time, we interviewed Coach Baoshu of MLB Nanjing DC Center and Coach Sun of Qiangba Base.
During the interview, I learned that they are full of confidence in the future development of baseball in China.
Because, the best development period of Chinese baseball is coming!
"Chasing the Ball" stay tuned!
