The 43-year-old reality TV star recently made headlines for his transgressions.
Filming was halted after last year's accident, when she spent 30 days at the Priory Rehabilitation Centre and nearly died in a car accident.
On the upcoming Channel 4 show, Katie talks about that terrible moment.
After "falling to the bottom", she vowed to change her life, she said, she felt she had to face a lot of things and pressures, everyone had their own script to play, and no one's life was perfect.
She continued that she didn't want to be in that situation anymore. In fact, she confessed that because she didn't want to get into that sad situation, she felt she needed to do something, do something destructive, hurt the people around her, because she didn't know how to deal with the lows in her life.
"I regret getting into that car, I almost killed someone. I could kill myself. My child may not have a mother. When she thought about it in hindsight, she felt sorry for her children and relatives, and felt creepy.
She told reporters that she decided to see a therapist every week in the days to come, and then boldly said that she really needed help.
In the end, she promises that she is alive despite something that has happened, so she will now shift the center to a family that she may have neglected before.
Last December, Katie overturned in a drunk driving accident, thus avoiding jail time.
She was sentenced to 16 weeks in prison, suspended for 12 months and 100 hours of community service after Crowley District Court recognized drunk driving, uninsured driving and prohibition on the road.
District Judge Amanda Kelly, in announcing her sentencing, said she didn't take others into account when she drove that night. And solemnly said that her actions meant that the emergency services had to waste valuable time dealing with her accident, and that it was not the first time she had deliberately flouted court orders.
