Ma Yun once said: "This grandfather, I am afraid it is difficult to have a second one in China." ”
Director Feng Xiaogang also said of him: "He is a legend in the flickering world, even if there is a big risk, everyone is willing to follow him!" ”
Wang Jianlin also said in an interview: "He is a madman, absolutely a madman!" ”
Who is he, and how capable he is to make business celebrities and film and television celebrities have such a high evaluation of him.
He is Mu Zhong, who is definitely the godfather level figure in the history of business in China, once penniless, he made a hundred million with his ability to make a hundred million, and once threatened: "If you give me another 20 years, I will absolutely blow up the Himalayas." ”

Such an arrogant and confident figure created his own commercial building the Südde Group.
Later, he spent a full eighteen years in prison, and when he came out, he was already a white-haired old man, but he said in front of the media:
"Even though I have nothing now, I still have 246 houses in Beijing!"
What a glory Mu Zhong was when he was young, and after twenty years of silence, he could still have so many assets!
01 Blowing up the Himalayas
There may be many people who don't know each other now, but in Feng Xiaogang's "Not Seen, Not Scattered", Liu Yuan, played by Ge You, said a big plan when chatting with his girlfriend.
This big plan came from Mu Zhong's mouth: "I want to blow up the Himalayas into a large opening of fifty kilometers, so that the warm and humid air in the Indian Ocean can pass through Nepal and blow into our Qinghai-Tibet Plateau." ”
"I want to completely change the harsh ecological environment there, take off the backward hat of the Great Northwest, and turn our Qinghai-Tibet Plateau into a beautiful and rich land of fish and rice like Sichuan."
Everyone is not unfamiliar with this clip, and when they saw it, they just listened to it as a joke.
As everyone knows, this plan was carefully conceived by Mou Zhong, and if it had not been at the right time, because of the letter of credit fraud and imprisonment, perhaps this big plan would have been implemented.
The light that a person can burst out in an era is actually the light of this era.
The times created Mou Zhong, and at the same time, Mou Zhong also created that era.
He would say at a moment that he would take the goods that could not be sold in China to the Russian capitalists and exchange them for their big planes, and then he would ask someone to get the satellites into the sky.
But he turned his head and said to his subordinates, in a few days, I will invest 5 billion yuan in northern Shaanxi, and then blow up the Himalayas, so that the warm wind will benefit our 56 nationalities.
It is said that the times create heroes, his most powerful is that he was named "China's fourth richest man", and now the big guys in China's real estate industry have basically worked and worked under his hands.
For example: Pan Shiyi, Feng Lun, Ren Zhengfei and so on.
To say that the plans he casually talked about were not simply exaggerated to Haikou, but basically realized.
Just to say that one of his most famous business experiences is that he wants to take the backlog of goods that China cannot sell to Russia for planes.
02 Mou among them cans for airplanes
In the 1990s, there was a term called "upside down", which refers to the most ordinary business of buying and reselling between Russia and China.
Mu Zhongzhong learned the mystery and came up with some ideas.
In 1991, just then, Mu Zhong met a "fallen master" on the train who specialized in import and export, and the man told him:
"The Soviet Union has disintegrated, it is now Russia, and those capitalists have always wanted to sell airplanes, but they have not been able to find a buyer."
A word awakened the dreamer, Mu Zhong learned that the Soviet Union had planes to deal with, and looking at the few Sichuan Airlines planes that had just been built in his hometown, Mu Knew that this was an opportunity to make a big deal.
Mou Zhong, who had just imported 20,000 tons of white sugar from the United States at that time, had been in a state of slow sales, the loan could not be repaid, the bank could not lend him a loan, and then the refrigerator imported from South Korea had been backlogged in the warehouse.
He didn't have so much money at all, in the face of many crises, he just had ideas that were definitely not enough, how to pay for action, how to complete this transaction after five levels and six cuts.
At that time, some state-owned enterprises had a large number of cans, warm bottles, tents, leather clothes, clothing, electrical appliances and other daily necessities that were not sold and could not be sold.
The situation in Russia was not optimistic, the economic system was in serious decline, consumer goods became the most scarce item at that time, and the solution of canned food and food became an urgent problem.
Mu Zhong, who learned of the situation, was ecstatic.
He quickly ordered his subordinates to set up a team to hold multiple purchase meetings to purchase canned food, convenience foods and other consumer products from major warehouses across the country.
Then Mou Zhong came to Sichuan to meet the general manager of Sichuan Provincial Civil Airlines, and at the dinner table, Mou Zhong did not directly enter his own theme, but always talked about his love for his hometown.
After three rounds of drinking, the general manager took Mou Zhong's hand to tell his difficulties, and Mou Zhong knew that his opportunity had come, at which time he explained his intentions to the general manager and promised to get at least four planes for the airline.
Here one has to admire mou's pulling tactics.
Subsequently, Mu Zhongzhong received officials from the Russian Ministry of Aeronautical Engineering at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse, and directly presented the samples found in advance to the officials, and said:
"I can get as much as you need."
Looking at the samples in several rooms, the Russian side was stunned, and could not believe that Mu had obtained so many samples alone, and after the inspection, the officials signed an agreement on the spot.
Finally, in the name of Sichuan Airlines, he applied for the import of aircraft, and contacted an authoritative company with foreign trade rights to export in his name, so that import and export would not be a problem.
Although the import and export problem is solved, the Russian side has to pay for the delivery of goods with one hand, so that the purchase of goods at home has become a big problem.
At that time, Mou had nothing to mortgage, and the bank no longer gave him loans.
The next scene was even more stunning, and the witty Mou Told the Russian side:
"Although your plane arrives in Chengdu soon, our train will arrive at your place later, but it doesn't matter, we all ship at the same time as agreed, just one morning and one night."
Mu Zhong took advantage of the time difference in the middle, the Russian plane arrived in Chengdu on the same day, after arriving in Chengdu, Mou Zhong immediately made a mortgage in the bank, and after getting the funds, he paid the goods to the state-owned manufacturers who had contacted them in advance.
Manufacturers ship directly to export trading companies, and trading companies ship to Russia.
In this way, the first 154 aircraft completed the transaction, the second, the third, the fourth, and China finally continued to transport 400 million worth of consumer goods to the Russian side.
And Mu Zhong did not spend a penny in the middle, but earned 160 million from it!
In the 1990s, a single business made 160 million yuan, and its value soared rapidly, ranking among the richest people in China.
03 There is nothing in the world that cannot be done, only things that cannot be imagined
After the can-for-Russia incident, Mou Zhongzhong was called "China's most cattle downtrodden" by the business circles at that time, and then Mou Zhongzhong also changed the slogan of his own company, Nande Group, to:
"There is nothing in the world that cannot be done, only things that cannot be imagined."
When he was still proud of his spring breeze, he said:
"I don't think it's hard to make money, it's the easiest thing to do."
Mu Zhong's appetite is getting bigger and bigger, and the larger the projects mu are proposed, the more eye-opening:
Blowing up the Himalayas, buying satellites, moving people to Mars, building a "Little Hong Kong of the North."
It can be seen that Mou Zhongzhong is ambitious, and he also calls himself a "Mou-style flicker" and a legend of the "flickering world".
Later, director Feng Xiaogang also commented on Mu Zhong, saying that he was an idealist, and his advanced consciousness and imagination had to be admired, not so much a businessman as a missionary.
The business is getting bigger and bigger, and under the "flickering" of Mou Zhong, Russia also has full trust in the South German Group, and began to participate in the joint research and development of launch satellites with the Russian International Satellite Organization.
But it was almost impossible for private companies to get a large number of loans directly from domestic banks at that time, let alone cooperate with overseas satellite launches, which was even more difficult.
In 1995, Mou Zhong, through the introduction of his former partner Xia Zongqiong, met He Jun, chairman of the Australian Group.
At that time, it was clear that it was willing to develop satellite business with SÜD Group and help SÜD Group "absorb overseas funds", and then the two sides signed the "Double 8 Agreement".
However, this agreement almost ruined Mou Zhong's business career and sent himself to prison for 18 years.
What mistake did Mu Zhong, who has always been clever, make, and turn the business empire he built into a bubble overnight.
Shortly after the signing of the "Eighty-Eight Agreement", He Jun suddenly withdrew from the guarantee behind the back of the Nande Group, turned around and cashed out the credit of the Guiyang branch in the name of the Nande Group.
When Mu Found out that the guarantee had been replaced, He Jun's group had already issued more than twenty letters of guarantee to the Guiyang branch.
Mu Zhong immediately smelled the cat in the middle, avoided being framed by people for fraudulent guarantees, and hurried to Russia to discuss the satellite equity.
At that time, the satellite operated by NANDE group and The Russian International Satellite Organization had been successfully launched, and Nande held a 42% stake, and then leased the satellite together to a Russian company at an annual rent of 12 million US dollars.
However, the result is that they are controlled at the airport and are not allowed to leave the country.
In the face of the bank's collection at that time, in order to recover the funds, it had to transfer the satellite equity to the Russian side at the lowest price, and finally recovered only $14.5 million with the funds.
At this time, the Nande employee who had been expelled from MouZhong wrote "The First Deception of the Mainland Mou Zhong" to attract everyone's attention, and it was written that the company of the Nande Group had long been in deficit in recent years, and russia's satellite controlling interest had long been transferred.
Subsequently, the bank's arrears were not paid, and many banks took Mou to court on the charge of "credit fraud", while the state also took tough measures to recover his land use rights in Manchuria.
One day in 1999, Mou was forcibly taken away and sentenced to life imprisonment after acceptance.
04 I only have 246 suites left in Beijing
Hubei Hongshan Prison, Mu Zhong has been in it for 18 years. In prison, the big back head that had attracted much attention had long been replaced by an inch head, and he was not walking as spirited as before, slightly staggered.
But fortunately, he performed well in prison, always paying attention to news trends, working diligently, getting a commutation of sentence, and finally surviving to get out of prison.
On September 27, 2016, the 75-year-old Mou Zhong slowly walked out of prison, facing the tall buildings in front of him, and everything seemed so unreal. Despite his own efforts to understand the outside world while in prison, he still does not believe that China has undergone such a drastic change in just 18 years.
In the end, he just said frankly: "I have now become nothing, only 246 suites in Beijing." Before he went to prison, he built three buildings in Beijing in his own name, a total of 246 houses, as the staff dormitories of the Nande Group at that time.
Mou's 18 years in prison allowed him to miss the golden age of China's economic development, but he read more than a dozen newspapers he subscribed to every day in prison, and continued to write and expound his business ideas.
For his goals, he did not give up his physical exercise for more than ten years, in order to rebuild a business system within ten years after his release from prison.
Mu Zhong is a tyrant-like figure, if he had been born hundreds of years earlier, he would have definitely risen up to create an era.
But he has now become an old man with white hair, but fortunately, Mu Zhong is still full of expectations for life, and we should still need to give him a chance in this era, and I hope that he can continue to realize his grand plan in his twilight years and create the glory of his youth.
