Coordinated inspection to protect the Spring Festival "safety on the tip of the tongue"

author:Market supervision in Xingning District, Nanning

The Spring Festival is approaching, and the taste of the New Year is getting stronger. Recently, the Xingning District Market Supervision Bureau, in coordination with the Xingning District Procuratorate, went deep into all kinds of grocery stores on the street of the Shanghai Road Temporary New Year Market in its jurisdiction to carry out the special supervision activity of "Public Interest Litigation to Guard Peace and Harmony and spring festival", build a solid defense line for food safety at the festival, and ensure that the broad masses of people can spend a festive and peaceful Spring Festival with peace of mind.

The joint inspection focuses on checking whether there is a situation such as the sale of expired and spoiled food, and strictly prevents spoiled and expired food from being sold on the shelves. At the same time, around the epidemic prevention requirements, focusing on food in medium and high-risk areas (such as cold chain food, alcohol, beverages, bulk food, etc.), check the purchase channels, quarantine certificates, cold chain food traceability codes, and packaging labels of frozen foods to prevent problem foods from flowing into the market.

During the inspection, a grocery store was suspected of selling food that did not comply with laws and regulations, and the law enforcement personnel immediately issued a notice of correction to it, ordering it to immediately stop selling food that did not comply with laws and regulations, standardize business behavior, and implement the main responsibility. The next day, law enforcement officers conducted a "look back" inspection of the reviled merchant, which had removed the problematic food and completed rectification.

In the next step, the Xingning District Market Supervision Bureau will continue to strengthen food safety inspections during the Spring Festival, strictly control food safety in all aspects of food source, storage and sales, effectively eliminate food safety hazards, and advocate the general public to actively call the 12515 consumer reporting hotline to provide clues on food safety violations, and call on the community to jointly guard the "safety on the tip of the tongue" and build a shared better life.
