In this 1672 square kilometers of land, there is a person who silently warms the ice and snow on the Gobi and everyone's heart with his simplicity and kindness, and all this is being recorded by the creators of the movie "Film Police Baoyin".
The birth of "Film Police Baoyin"
"It's not easy to make Baoyin's story into a movie, it's not like the general public security movie, cracking the case is thrilling, his story grew out of this land, has roots and souls." "Film Police Baoyin" producer Hu and Battle said.
"National public security system first-class heroic model", "the most beautiful grass-roots public security police", "my favorite people's police"... Speaking of Baoyin Deligle, there was no one in the town of Chaogwendur who did not know him.
Baoyin Drigel is known as the "living file of the population situation" by the locals, he personally drew a map of the distribution of herders and a family situation book, the household registration number, the number of grass pasture and the information of family members corresponded, just like looking up the dictionary, the population of the town, he knew the population situation.
He also called him a "police postman," and many years ago he applied to the post office for mailbox 48, volunteering to deliver letters to herders, subscribe to newspapers and magazines, and sometimes help herders buy veterinary drugs and send money to their children in school.
Since joining the workforce in 1996, Baoyin Deliger has broken 7 motorcycles. His area of jurisdiction amounts to 1,672 square kilometers, equivalent to the size of a City of Xiamen, and he also has a title of "China's largest film policeman".
After Hu and Bartle met Baoyin Deliger, everything that happened to Baoyin Deliger deeply touched him, and Hu and Battle made up their minds to make "Film Police Baoyin".
Turning ideas into reality is not easy, and the preparation process for "Film Police Baoyin" is very tortuous.
From the first time I met Baoyin Deliger in early 2014 to the official start of filming on September 27, 2017, it took nearly four years for Hu and Battle to brew the film. During this time, he was exposed to 6 directors and 4 screenwriters, and he couldn't find the feeling he wanted. He said: "If you don't understand what you don't understand, you can't do it." ”
Ho and Battle first came into contact with a young director who had a good performance in the future attention section of the Tokyo Film Festival, and he took the young director to the town of Gwendour, where the story takes place, to let him understand the environment in which the story takes place, and after two months of running-in, their ideas could not be unified. Later, he contacted the documentary director Xu Tong and the director of "Snow Without a Trace" Lei Xianhe, but they did not find a suitable shooting direction for a long time.
In the fall of 2015, he approached Ning Ying, a well-known female director who had previously worked on The Police Diary, and Ning Ying was very fond of the story and the natural scenery of ChaoGwendur Town. But then they disagreed on the shooting style, Ande Bartle believed that "Film Police Baoyin" should be filmed in a documentary style, and director Ning Ying did not want to repeat himself. Unfortunately, the two were not able to work together again.
In the spring of the following year, Huhe Battelle found Wang Quan'an, the director who had filmed "White Deer Plain", and Wang Quan'an was also attracted by this subject, and after examining the environment, he began to make a script, but half a year later they still did not find a suitable shooting direction... After this, Hu and Bartle contacted a documentary director, Zhao Liang, and the film was not made.
Just when Hu and Bartle were about to give up, young director Yang Jin appeared in his field of vision. At that time, they were talking about another film cooperation, but Yang Jin had a great interest in "Film Police Baoyin". After Yang Jin and screenwriter Cao Kou came into contact, they hit it off and then began to create the film. Yang Jin is the seventh director that producer Hu and Battle have contacted, and the final director of "Film Police Baoyin".
Yang Jin said: "After learning the story of Baoyin Deliger, I was very moved, and my father was also such a simple person. He made an analogy: "It is not easy for a tree that grows on the Gobi to survive, and Baoyin is a tree on the Gobi in my heart." This metaphor seems to be like a movie picture, and the image of the tree is presented in front of the eyes.
How to tell the story of Baoyin Deliger well, the script is the key. According to Hu and Battle, the process of selecting a screenwriter and creating a script was equally tortuous, and in the end, the ideal script of "Film Police Baoyin" was realized in the hands of screenwriter Cao Kou. Under the guidance of the famous screenwriters Reed and Shi Jianjian, the final script was determined. Most of the stories in the play are based on the true story of Baoyin Deliger.
On September 27, the movie "Film Police Baoyin" finally officially started filming.
Filming with Baoyin
The hotel where the creators of "Film Police Baoyin" live is less than 300 meters away from the police station where Baoyin Drigel is located, and before the film starts, they go deep into the life of Baoyin Deliger to experience the role.
The male lead actor who plays Baoyin Deliger is called Baoyin Nimuhu, and everyone also calls him "Baoyin", which is a coincidence and a fate.
Baoyin Nimuhu said: "In order to play the role well and understand what kind of work he is like, I always follow Baoyin Brother to the pastoral area on a motorcycle, I remember the first time was to register the foreign population, Baoyin Brother was afraid of delaying their work, and chose to go at night." The second time was to go to a herdsman's house, and the herder treated him like a family member, and he was in the same state as the herder, like working in the life of a herder. I have never seen such a patient, so simple person, admired him from the bottom of my heart. ”
Baoyin Nimuhu recalled that one day he was taking stills on the street, and suddenly a person shouted at him in the car: "Baoyin, I have something to find you", it turned out that the herdsman mistakenly regarded him as Baoyin Deliger, which made Baoyin Nimuhu very happy.
"Don't act, don't act. life! life! life! This is what directors often say. Baoyin Nimuhu said: "Usually I rarely laugh when I act, but now I always smile, because this is the characteristic of Baoyin Brother." He said: "Shaping this role is very stressful, the roles I played before will have a certain artistic processing, but after I met Bao Yingge, a living person, I decided that this role cannot be imitated, he is a thin person, I am relatively tall, all aspects are different, so I have to figure out the mentality and act with my heart." ”
In the crew of "Film Police Baoyin", more than 90% are Mongolian actors, including powerful actors such as Badma and Sangh Rinchen, who are willing to play supporting roles in the play to add to the film. According to the crew, Badma plays Baoyin's mother in the play, she treats the role very seriously, and often goes to Baoyin Deliger's mother's home to experience life.
During the interview, everyone on the crew was able to tell a few stories that they had personally experienced and happened to Baoyin Drigel. They were conquered by the personality charm of Baoyin Drigel, and from the bottom of their hearts, they wanted to play the role well and make the movie well.
Director Yang Jin said: "Baoyin has three sentences that are particularly simple and very infectious to me, and I use these three sentences in the movie, namely: 'I like to work, and work makes my life full.'" "I'm just an ordinary herdsman policeman, just the spotlight hit me, let me get a lot of personal honors, in fact, there are many policemen like me." ’”
"Baoyin Drigel is an interesting person, he often posts 'prairie motorcycle police warm tips' in the circle of friends, policies and regulations, work processes, anti-deception information and everything." Whoever loses their motorcycles and livestock will also send a notice to help find them. From Baoyin's body, I saw the most beautiful way for people to get along with each other. Hu and Battle said.
Not only the herders, but also the people in the crew like to find Baoyin Deliger. The crew recruits extras, he will help to send a recruitment notice in the circle of friends; the crew lacks props, he will also help solve. The three words "find the treasure" have become popular in the town of Chao Gwendur.
The day of the reporter's interview was just in time for the crew to shoot a night scene at the police station. Filming outside the house, Baoyin Deliger is still working inside the house. It was already 9 p.m., and the herders who were looking for Baoyin Deliger to run errands were still in an endless stream.
It is such a person, such a crew, to bring people the most original touch in the most sincere way. As a literary and artistic theme film with contemporary public security themes, "Film Police Baoyin" abandons the fancy film expression method and restores the most real image of a good person in the most natural way. It is reported that the movie "Film Police Baoyin" will meet with the audience early next year.
