Guilin Rongji is a rice noodle shop on Changchun Road in Taipei, and the hostess is from Guilin. The rice noodle shop that his grandfather used to open in Guilin Huaqiao was a household name, and she got the elegant name of "rice noodle girl". Later, she married an officer and served as the wife of an official for several years, but unexpectedly, the whereabouts of her husband were unknown in the Battle of Northern Jiangsu, so she withdrew to Taiwan with her army and opened this rice noodle shop.

Most of the people who frequent the rice noodle shop are small civil servants, many of whom are the guangxi compatriots of the boss lady, and many people make meals here all year round.

An old man Li who came to pack rice was once called "Li Bancheng" in Liuzhou, and it is said that half of the houses in Liuzhou City belong to his family. But now living in Taipei, old and stupid abandoned by his son, often unable to pay for food and scolded by the boss lady, on his 70th birthday, the old man hanged himself.

The other was Qin Yizi, who was a county magistrate in Rong County, Guangxi, and had several wives. But now in taipei city government, he has been fired for flirting with female employees. The woman who flirted with the woman in the market was broken in the head and locked up in the police station, and the boss lady bailed him out, and on a stormy night, he fell into a ditch and drowned.

There is also a Mr. Lu from Guilin, the most favored by the hostess, who often cooks rice noodles for him with double ingredients. Mr. Lu was born in a large household in Guilin, and now he only has a mr. teaching, and he is still single in his thirties and is still a drunkard, and Miss Luo of Guilin, who is engaged to him. The hostess introduced himself to his niece and he refused. When he was cheated out of his life savings and could not see his sweetheart, he gave up on himself and mixed with Taiwanese laundry lady Ah Chun and was injured. After beating a female student on the street, he quietly died the next day, and the doctors could not find out the cause of death.

The lady boss went to Mr. Lu's house to find valuable things to offset the money he owed for the meal, and found a photo of Mr. Lu and Miss Luo, which she used to hang in the rice noodle shop and show off her past to the customers.
