"Battlefield Goddess" Liu Yaling's eyes in the eyes of the 417 regiment

My profile: Liu Yaling, a nurse at the 67 Hospital of the People's Liberation Army, from 1984 to 1988, she personally experienced the "field rescue" or "theater hospital treatment" work of 4 round combat units, and was a "female man" who was not afraid of death, dared to play with his life, but grew a pair of angel wings. Although she was not a soldier in the 417 regiment, the officers and men of the 417 regiment knew and respected her, and she was "Mu Guiying" in the minds of the soldiers. She received a severe warning from the party for going to the battlefield, and also won the first class merit for being slightly injured and could not save the wounded in the line of fire, and was elected as the second heroic model representative of the whole army; after retiring from the army, she became the "CCTV. Most Beautiful Rural Doctor" in 2013.

Editor's Note: On March 15, 2014, Liu Yaling, the former "battlefield goddess", was elected as the "Most Beautiful Rural Doctor of CCTV" in 2013. Just stepped off the screen and returned to Xi'an from the Beijing awards ceremony. He was invited to the Summer Palace Hotel in Xi'an and accepted our exclusive interview. Our conversation began with liu Yaling's transcript after she was interviewed by Phoenix TV and her 2004 online "comparison" of the troops involved in the war, with the title added by the editor.

Liu Yaling, with the careful observation and maverick thinking characteristic of female medical workers, triggered the evaluation of the four units participating in the war, and after thirty years after the war, it has still become a topic of concern and hot discussion among veterans and the media...

There is a comparison to distinguish, I would like to evaluate the four round combat troops in one word:

The first army participated in the war - "virtual", good blowing, can publicize, and the desire to survive is quite strong;

The troops of the Sixty-seventh Army participating in the battle--"Han", honestly a little wooden;

The units of the Forty-seventh Army, the "wild", were brave and arrogant;

The troops of the Twenty-seventh Army participating in the battle, "Strict", the weather was so hot, they would never undo the wind and discipline.

The above remarks are only personal views, please "change it if you have it, and encourage it if you don't", and leave me a good impression on the next battle. In fact, my evaluation is not important at all, what is important is that I want to tell you such a conclusion: When the "wilderness" of the 417th Regiment of the Lanzhou Military Region and the "strictness" of the 235th Regiment of the Beijing Military Region are combined, the Chinese army will really be indestructible and invincible!

Portrait of Liu Yaling

The April 17th Regiment in Liu Yaling's eyes: The soldiers of this team are "wild", and the regimental commander is not afraid of the soldiers "provoking trouble", and he is afraid of the soldiers "can't even win a fight, and can they still win the battle when they go to the battlefield?" That's called "shame"! ”

In the Nala battlefield, I met the leader of the 417th Regiment. In addition to the unique wisdom, wisdom, and love of soldiers among cadres, he also has more courage, righteousness, and responsibility. Therefore, the cadres and fighters of the 417th Regiment respected and loved this young regimental commander who was very sympathetic to each other. During the training period, in my small talk with the comrades of the 417th Regiment, I inadvertently broke out a "fierce material", this soldier said to me: "Every time we come back from a fight, the regimental commander does not know not to say, as long as he knows, he will always ask first, 'Won the battle?'" Or did you lose? 'Win and don't say, if you lose . . . . The regimental commander is going to 'clean up' our . . . . ”

The old regimental commander often said, "You can't win a fight, you can still win a battle . . . . . ?

Therefore, "the soldiers of the 417th Regiment love to fight and dare to fight desperately" is famous for the front line of Laoshan in Yunnan.

There is a saying that the soldiers of the Forty-seventh Army, the soldiers of the 139th Division, and the soldiers of the 417th Regiment have no edge. The boundless "wildness" of the 417th Regiment may find the answer in these "officers" of the Lanzhou Military Region and the Forty-seventh Army. You don't know that one by one, these "officials" ran to the front line like a demon, quite like the older generation of soldiers such as President Peng in the war years. Zhao Xianshun, commander of the Lanzhou Military Region, could not hold back his "loneliness" and must climb the main peak of Lao Shan to inspect the position, but as a result, he attracted a burst of artillery fire from the Vietnamese army, and the commander almost accompanied the martyrs. Commander Huang Junjie of the 139th Division, Commander Liu of the 417th Division, and others "jumped" to the Nala position with their guards, as if the danger created by the Vietnamese army in Nalakou had nothing to do with them. "Soldiers bear one, will bear a nest." Do you think that commanders at all levels often appear in the front positions, can that soldier not be "wild"?

I participated in "10. 14”、“1. 5”、“1. 7 "The battlefield rescue of the battle did not find the soldiers of the 417th Regiment clustered together crying and crying. In addition, Li Tuqiang, a soldier from Xi'an, was blown off in two legs at 142 (Li Haixin Heights), and the soldiers of the 417th Regiment braved a rain of bullets and bullets to rescue Li Tuqiang in the middle of the day under the eyes of the Vietnamese army and sent him to the rear hospital, which is rare in the Nala battlefield and in all the round combat troops.

In the ambulance station of the forward position, her hands were stained with the "blood" of the wounded Liu Yaling, who was gasping for breath

Cheng Laiyou was a grassroots commander of the April 17th Regiment who was "mythologized" by Liu Yaling, and his "tactics" that he had not disclosed so far not only satisfies the appetite of readers, but also has been talked about by Liu Yaling because of Cheng Laiyou's tactics of "not fighting according to textbooks."

On the night of April 28, 1986, on the battlefield of the 417th Regiment, which had just taken over the defense and was unstable, the 211st forward position, which was only a few meters away from the Vietnamese army, was lost. Because the position was far away and close, and the 211 position had been secretly attacked and occupied by the Vietnamese army a year ago, not only made the Sixty-seventh Army pay a heavy price in life in order to retake the position, but also made this unit a great shame. Commanders at all levels looked at the pitch-black positions and listened to the fierce sound of artillery fire, and could the tragedy of the Sixty-seventh Army be repeated on the positions of the Forty-seventh Army? What a chill! Until dawn, there was finally a "211 position is still there, no death!" "Good news.

The leading cadre stationed at the 211 position was called Cheng Laiyou, who was promoted from the platoon commander of the sixth company to the deputy company commander of the fifth company before the war. Cheng Laiyou was a cadre selected by Yang Xingxing, commander of the Fifth Company of the Regiment's Chartered Fifth Company, in the whole regiment for the 211 position. It was this "ghost cleverness" that just went to the position and made a rather "damaged" tactic, allowing the Vietnamese army to touch the area around their position, and there was no way to capture it, but instead let the artillery fire of our army make the Vietnamese army miserable.

Liu Yaling's inscription in an exclusive interview

After the war, I asked Cheng Laiyou why he disappeared? He said he could tell me, but you must not tell the regimental commander: "Because the regimental commander knows, he will pick my skin" It was only recently (because they were safe for each other) that I told the old regimental commander. "Cheng Laiyou this guy is really bold, how dare he do this?" The old regimental commander was angry, hateful and helpless: "Today when I mention this matter, I should listen to the story, at that time I want to know, I really don't know whether to clean him up or commend him . . . . . ?”

I believe that if Commander Huang Junjie and Commander Qian Shugen knew about Cheng Laiyou's tactics, they would also . . . Still is...? Therefore, everyone does not know as well, just know that the Vietnamese counterattack has failed, and the 211 position is saved. Cheng Laiyou's "non-textbook" tactics could only be "bred" in the April 17th Regiment.

"Battlefield Goddess" Liu Yaling's eyes in the eyes of the 417 regiment

On August 1, 1987, Liu Yaling participated in the Second Heroic Model Report of the Whole Army and Ma Yuge, the hero of the 417th Regiment's all-army battle, at the Tiananmen Tower.

From the moment Liu Yaling rescued Xu Liang's life, they were destined to become good comrades-in-arms who cared for each other all their lives.

I lived in a cat ear hole next to the command post of the 262nd position and the second battalion, how the battalion commander commanded the battle, what news was ahead, I was okay and quietly lay on my "bunk" to listen. On the evening of the second of May, I heard it very clearly, and reported to the battalion commander in front: "Left 61 post, a few Vietnamese troops touched . . . . Someone was wounded or seriously injured, and the battalion was ready for rescue. ”

After waiting for an hour or two, I saw that the wounded person who was carried down was Xu Liang, I called his name and he did not say a word, and when he measured his blood pressure, it was 0, and he was unconscious. I quickly gave him an infusion, and the third needle was pierced to the thicker part of the vein in the middle of the elbow, and there was no blood return (blood pressure 0), and I knew from experience that the puncture was successful. He was given 1,000 milliliters of substitute plasma on the 262 position, and 1,000 milliliters of brine (no balanced salt) on the way back to the rear division hospital to help him survive the ghost gate of life.

Xu Liang's wound was quite high, and the bullet entered from the groin of his left leg and came out of his hip. The tourniquet is not easy to tie, and if we slip down, we will tie the root of his thigh, and then tie a tourniquet to the waist, which is not easy to slip down. Considering that I would continue to give him salt water on the road, I decided to send him down, because I would definitely have more experience than a warrior to keep this intravenous pipeline open.

Carrying the wounded is really not easy to walk. The trench was wide for a while, narrow for a while, and when I entered the narrow place from wide to narrow, I was stuck, I couldn't move forward and couldn't retreat, and then I thought I just stayed under the stretcher, holding the liquid in my hand while squeezing the liquid.

Sometimes when the hole is very short, I simply walk on my knees, and my knees are worn out and I don't feel pain. The real danger was that we passed through the exposed areas blocked by the Vietnamese army, and it was certainly not possible for us to put Xu Liang on the position. In this way, all the way bumpy, all the way running, hard travel. Until Xu Liang was safely sent to the division hospital.

After the war, some people rumored: "Xu Liang was timid and afraid of suffering, and fired a shot of himself . . . "He also pushed the squad leader Tian Fenglai into the ditch, and it was the squad leader who exposed Xu Liang after he was captured and returned to China..."

I don't know why some people in society with ulterior motives should viciously ruin Xu Liang's reputation? But I know that Xu Liang is too bold, he first found out that the Vietnamese army sneaked attack immediately reported to the squad leader, and took the initiative to snipe the enemy before unfortunately shot and fell in a pool of blood, if he shrinks in the hole will certainly not be injured. Xu Liang and this team are both bloody figures of the "God of War" level, they each have a glorious bomb in their hands, and they are always ready to die with the Vietnamese army, why could the squad leader Tian Fenglai be captured? Not a single man of the entire Forty-seventh Army was captured. Moreover, in the thirty years after the war, Xu Liang and Tian Fenglai have always had a good relationship, Xu Liang often sends money and gifts to the old squad leader who lives on a tight budget; the old regiment leader often provides some protection for Xu Liang, who loves to smoke. Just imagine, if Xu Liang was a coward and afraid of death, the old regiment leader could love Xu Liang so much? Therefore, I must take this opportunity to restore the truth of Xu Liang's injury to correct the situation. Xu Liang is a battle hero beyond reproach!
