An important reason why Sino-Russian relations are getting better and better today is the promotion of external forces. After the Crimea incident in 2014, the West increased sanctions against Russia; after 2018, China and the United States began a trade war. At present, Sino-Russian relations are positioned as a comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination in the new era, not allies, but like allies, and there is no upper limit to back-to-back cooperation. We can support and cooperate with each other on some major international issues and jointly safeguard regional stability and world peace. On the current Ukrainian issue facing Russia, we must support the Russian side's propositions and oppose attempts by the United States and NATO to expand eastward; on the Taiwan issue, Russian President Putin has also given us corresponding solidarity. It is not easy for the declining United States to deal with China and Russia at the same time, and if China and Russia can interact and cooperate to deal with the United States, the United States will have more difficulties. In future international relations, Sino-Russian cooperation has great prospects.
