Xiaomi Group also announced that Shang Jin, former vice president of the group and general manager of the new retail department in China, left his job due to personal reasons. Xiaomi appointed Wang Xiaoyan, vice president of China, as the general manager of the new retail department, and reported to Lu Weibing, president of China.

Chang Cheng is a veteran in the field of science and technology, joined Lenovo in 2000, and has successively created Internet products such as Lenovo Lex Store, Eggplant Express and hardware products such as Yoga tablets and ZUK series mobile phones, and was promoted to the head of Lenovo's mobile phone business in China in May 2018. Around New Year's Day in 2020, Changcheng announced his resignation and quickly joined Xiaomi Group as vice president, responsible for mobile phone product planning. To this end, Lenovo Group and Changcheng also conducted labor arbitration on the issue of non-compete agreement, and the Beijing Haidian District Labor and Personnel Dispute Arbitration Commission ruled that Changcheng should continue to perform its non-compete obligations and pay Lenovo more than 5.25 million yuan in liquidated damages.

When asked about the reason for jumping to Xiaomi, Chang Cheng once said that he agreed that "mobile phone + AIoT" is the future direction. Changcheng said that in China and even in the world, Xiaomi is the founder and leader of "mobile phone + AIoT", "which may be the most important consideration." ”

From 2020 onwards, Xiaomi vigorously entered the high-end market and recruited external talents in many ways, including Changcheng, a number of industry executives joined Xiaomi, which was once called the "Avengers" by the industry. However, over time, some external executives have left actively or passively. In November 2020, Yang Zhe, who had just joined Xiaomi as vice president and CMO in China in June of that year, was officially announced to be a marketing consultant in China, withdrawing from Xiaomi's core decision-making circle and becoming the first person to be "left behind" among the external executives vigorously recruited by Lei Jun after Xiaomi's listing.

Chang Cheng's departure also made him the second person to leave Xiaomi's external executive team. While the pace of external executive recruitment has slowed down, Xiaomi has recently announced internally that its entrepreneurs plan to add 18 new cadres to the selection, plus 66 cadres selected last year, bringing the total to more than 80. Last year, the company also promoted Zhu Dan, who has been cultivated internally for a long time, as a group executive in the R&D line, and the executives of the future group may also emerge among the candidates of the Future Entrepreneur Program.
