Gunshots rang out at night in the Chinese quarter of San Gabriel, killing and injuring an Asian man in his 40s. It was San Gabriel's second shooting in nearly half a month.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department (LASD), a fatal shooting occurred at 8:10 p.m. on the 26th in San Gabriel, which is located in the 1400 block of Prospect Avenue, which belongs to the residential area from the map.
When the police arrived, an Asian man was shot in the upper body and pronounced dead at the scene, and another victim, who was also Asian, suffered a gunshot wound and was rushed to the hospital, currently not life-threatening.
The Los Angeles Police Department Homicide Division went to the scene to assist the San Gabriel Police Department in its investigation, and the case is under further investigation.

The crime occurred near the Chinese business district, just one block away from Valley Avenue, a food street, and about 2 minutes on foot. On the map, the crime occurred in the north of the Hilton Hotel, not far from Quantong Square and Hawaii Supermarket.
There are currently no investigations into the suspects by the police.

This is san Gabriel's second shooting in nearly half a month. At 11:47 a.m. on Jan. 13, in a residential area of 800 blocks on East Grand Avenue, a 16-year-old Hispanic teenager was shot and, although seriously injured, was ultimately not life-threatening.
The suspects were two minors, one of whom had just turned 18 years old, whose name was Allan Gerard Lohman, and the other whose name was not released.
