Since the middle of December 2021, the Haining Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau has conscientiously implemented the decision-making and deployment of the provincial and municipal special rectification action of "two roads and two sides of the 'three modernizations and one level'" for the Asian Games, benchmarked the most wonderful plates in Jiaxing's "important window" and the model urban positioning of the common prosperity demonstration area, solidly carried out the special rectification action of urban municipal roads, and comprehensively improved the urban road environment and road conditions.
It is reported that the road special rectification work mainly includes road potholes and rut rectification, bridge head jumping rectification, manhole settlement rectification, etc., through the sound management mechanism, to make up for the shortcomings, and effectively ensure the safety under the feet of the public. In the process of rectification, strictly implement the road condition inspection and small repair maintenance system, in accordance with the principle of "finding one place, solving one place", timely deal with early diseases such as road potholes, cracks, mild ruts, and poor manhole cover frames on urban roads. At the same time, measures such as smoothing the pavement of the bridgehead, reinforcement of the roadbed, and replacement of lightweight materials are taken to effectively deal with the problem of jumping off the bridgehead; the method of milling and re-paving is adopted, and the road surface materials with good anti-rutting performance are used to deal with severe rutting in a timely manner; special projects, emergency maintenance and other methods are adopted to deal with the road diseases that occur in a concentrated manner throughout the entire section.
Up to now, a total of 321 kilometers of municipal roads have been inspected, and more than 20,000 manhole covers have been investigated. 11 bridge jumping problems were found and repaired; 193 road potholes and ruts were found, and 92 have been repaired; 213 manhole cover damage and sinking problems have been found, 177 have been repaired, and the rest are being repaired. Through a clear division of labor, refinement of responsibilities, and the formation of synergy, the "urban trap" has been eliminated in a timely manner, and a "smooth, safe, comfortable and beautiful" road traffic environment has been further created.
Next, the Haining Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau will continue to strengthen the daily inspection and maintenance of municipal roads in the urban area, sound the "100-day offensive" charge, promote the transformation of "centralized rectification" to "fine and long-term effect", improve the level of fine management, and strive to achieve obvious results in the special rectification action of "two roads and two sides of the Asian Games' by the end of April this year.
