Tips for changing lives: Great evil and great good can change lives
Yuan Yifan felt that Yungu Zen Master's statement was a little strange, and asked why he said it like this? Yungu Zen Master replied in this way, Man, if you can't do it without distractions, you will inevitably be bound by yin and yang.
We Chinese pay special attention to "yin and yang", that is, when our hearts are still bound, then you must have a fixed number. This fate of ours is bound by this heart of ours, not by anything else, but by our heart.
So, how can we not be bound, that is, how do we change the so-called fixed number? Either you are the most virtuous, or you are the most wicked, and great good and great evil can change our destiny. You've been twenty years old, you've been calculated by others, and you haven't changed a bit, so aren't you a big ordinary man? Isn't that a funny thing?
Speaking of this, I remember that recently several people have told me about their troubles, as if the troubles linger, and this fate is completely ruined, and even some thoughts about not wanting to live. In fact, our fate can really be changed.
My students used to ask me, "Teacher, will you tell fortunes?" What do I say fortune tellers do, so that the purpose is to be determined by others? Or is it to take my destiny into my own hands, I plan it, I change it, I go to really realize it? If I really want to take my fate into my own hands, I want to transform my destiny, what can I do with it? So, in fact, as far as I am concerned, my own life, I do not count. Why? I know how to do it, and it can really turn my fate. When I was a teenager, I didn't have anything to give myself a gua, at that time I thought it was magical and very funny, but now I don't count myself, one is useless, and the other is not accurate to me.
I do my destiny, and I ask for it myself
After Mr. Yuan Yifan heard about this matter, he had some feelings. Why? Because he did not obey fate. Especially in that era, everyone wanted to achieve something, at least to be a person who benefited the country and the people. Yuan Yifan has been engaged in a career for a while, as a small official, Feng Lu is just like this, and there is a more fatal thing, called No Queen! As the only seedling in their family, Dad was gone, and then there was no queen when he came to him, and if he did not change his life, he would die in his fifties. Can all this be changed for him? But the reality is there, and all the fates are counted by others.
At this time, he rekindled his hope, and at that time he asked, can I also turn this fixed number? Can I escape fate? Zen Master Yungu replied to him, a phrase that many of us have heard: I do my destiny, and I ask for it myself. That is what we usually say, life to do by oneself, blessing oneself to seek, and what reading is called mingxun.
In the canons, whether it is the Taoist classics, the Confucian classics in our traditional culture, or the Buddhist scriptures, it is called seeking riches and nobility, seeking men and women to get men and women, and seeking long life to get long lives.
Especially in the Buddhist scriptures, it is said that this Buddha is a true speaker, and since he is a true speaker, if it is false, it is a Buddha deceiving people, so what is it to say that you are a truth speaker? So, this Shakyamuni Buddha, he would never lie. Since the Buddha said in the Buddhist scriptures that we can seek riches and nobles, men and women to get men and women, and long lives to get long lives, isn't that what we want? I want to be rich, I want to be rich, I want future generations to prosper, I want to be healthy and live a long life, is it all here? Is there a specific way? Is it fooling people?
Yuan Yifan, who was a reader, further asked: Mencius said that the call to ask is to get it, is to ask for me. Then this moral benevolence can be pursued, and it can be sought up and down, but how can this be sought by merit and wealth? Isn't this a fixed number? I can only say that life is like this, my attitude towards life, this can make some changes. But how can external things change?
It sounds like Mr. Fan still has a realm, and he knows that we can face life with a different attitude. Of course, in the face of fate, what did his old man do? It is to go against the grain and feel that if fate is like this, what else can I do? Therefore, I confessed my fate, and from now on, I would no longer fight against fate.
