The TMZ website said the man drove the wrong way on the same road where Taylor's apartment was located. Then he reversed, hit the house, and broke the fire hydrant.
After the crash, the man got out of the car and tried to rip the intercom system from the apartment building off the wall, and photos showed he succeeded.
Police arrived at the scene after receiving an alarm call and the man had been detained. Police reportedly believe the man was drunk at the time and he may face charges of drunk driving and criminal pranks.
It's unclear if Taylor was in his apartment at the time of the Jan. 27 incident.
