According to Italian journalist Skira, Lille midfielder Renato Sanchez is still the main target of Milan's reinforcements.
Skipla noted that Milan are actively looking for a replacement given Casey's possible departure, with Lille midfielder Sanchez being the main target for the Rossoneri reinforcements. Lille has offered Sanchez a contract extension until 2025, but the player has yet to accept that he could leave the squad in the summer window and Milan will negotiate with Sanchez's agent Mendes in the coming weeks.
Sanchez's contract with Lille expires in 2023 and he has played 20 games so far this season, contributing 1 goal and 3 assists for 1,418 minutes.
