I want to go to Qiandongnan again
Although Shangluo was once a concentrated and contiguous poverty area in the country, in my past impression, Guizhou was even more backward than Shangluo. No, in December 2018, I was invited to Qiandongnan to participate in a media poverty alleviation activity. It was this trip to Qiandongnan that completely changed my impression of Guizhou.
When I was in school, I was terrible at geography, had poor academic performance, and often failed exams. However, I was very impressed with the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau. At first, I couldn't tell the concept of a plateau and a plain, and mistakenly thought that a plateau was a plain with a higher altitude. Once, when the geography teacher asked me a question, I said that the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau was equivalent to moving the Guanzhong Plain to a higher altitude. My ignorance caused the whole class to laugh. I knew I was wrong, but for a long time I didn't figure out what the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau looked like, and what was different from the plains. Later, when I joined the work, I figured out that the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau was not a plain with a high altitude.
Wanting to see and experience the plateau with my own eyes, I went to Kunming, Dali, Lijiang and other places. In these places, I somehow felt what altitude sickness was. However, I went to Qiandongnan without the slightest discomfort of high reaction. Whether it is in Kaili, Zhenyuan, or Bazaar, I think "this mountain" is so special, not our hometown "that mountain".
Aren't they all mountains, why are their moods different? It turned out to be human. The people of Qiandongnan quickly changed my impression of Guizhou. Especially in Miaozhai and Dongzhai drinking sour plum soup, eating long table banquets, watching song and dance performances, the simplicity and sincerity of Miaozhai and Dongzhai people have made me more curious about them. When I saw the hanging corner tower of the Thousand Miao Villages, I was shocked by the idea of the Miaozhai people gathering together, which is like the scene of many people gathered together in the Miao dance, so that people can feel why they have strength. Listening to the Miaozhai people, they came to The Thousand Households Miaozhai after six great migrations. That is, they had to migrate again and again, which made me understand why their hearts were so united.
In Miaozhai, I was quite interested in their batik. Look carefully, ask carefully, and find that they use a wax knife to dip the molten wax, paint the flowers on the cloth, and then dye them with blue indigo, so that the cloth surface shows a pattern of white flowers on a blue background or blue flowers on a white background. At the same time, in the process of immersion, the wax used as an anti-dye agent naturally cracks, so that the cloth surface shows a special "ice pattern", which is particularly attractive.
Witnessing Qiandongnan with my own eyes, I lamented that there is no plain here, unlike the Central Plains. But the pristine and convenient transportation gives me every reason to believe that this is a tourist mecca and their future is full of hope.
After all, I am walking around this time, and I hope to have the opportunity to go to Qiandongnan to see and appreciate the beauty of Qiandongnan. I think that if I can live here, let the rhythm slow down, learn to sing Dong songs, learn to dance Hmong dances, it will definitely be a romantic enjoyment.
