A few days ago, the final summary and exchange meeting of Ji Wenbo International Fashion Design College of Guangdong Baiyun University was held in the International Conference Hall of Baiyun Building on the North Campus. Chairman Xie Ketao, Vice Chairman and Vice President Xie Shaohua, President Huang Daqian, Vice President Li Hongying and Xiao Juntian, Director of Practical Teaching Management Center Zhang Guoan, Ji Wenbo, Dean of Ji Wenbo International Fashion Design College, Dean Li Jianjun of School of Media, Dean of School of Art and Design Chen Huagang, Vice President of Ji Wenbo International Fashion Design College Jiang Ping, Design Director of Guangdong Ji Wenbo Guochao Technology Co., Ltd. Chen Qiu, Dean of School of Art and Design Guo Yan and other teacher representatives and student representatives attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Fang Jiansong, executive dean of Ji Wenbo International Fashion Design College.
At the beginning of the meeting, Chairman Xie Ketao delivered a speech, and he made overall arrangements for the next in-depth exchanges from several aspects, such as the integration of intangible cultural heritage, social needs, and how to better build Jiwenbo International Fashion Institute.
Subsequently, Executive Dean Fang Jiansong summarized and reported from three aspects: the work effectiveness, existing problems and future work ideas of Ji Wenbo International Fashion Design Institute in 2021. Vice President Jiang Ping made a report on the teaching work of this semester, emphasizing project-based teaching, promoting learning through competition, forming a dual tutor team of schools and enterprises, and cultivating star designers. Teacher representatives You Zhihua and Deng Mingqi summarized the teaching work of this semester from the perspective of curriculum achievements and innovation, and three student representatives of Ji Wenbo International Fashion Design College, Tang Yiting, Yu Xinyang and Yang Shusen, also reported on what they learned and felt this semester from their own perspectives.

Vice Chairman Xie Shaohua pointed out that the positioning of Ji Wenbo International Fashion Design College should be clearer, and in terms of college planning and professional enrollment, we should try to collide with some sparks with the School of Media, integrate resources, gather strength, and enhance the influence of Ji Wenbo International Fashion Design College.
President Huang Daqian pointed out that the construction of the college should focus on how to better integrate basic teaching and professional teaching, pay attention to the collaborative cultivation of tutors inside and outside the school, pay attention to the development of students' personality, and do a good job in transforming traditional classrooms into fashionable and innovative classrooms. And put forward suggestions from the aspects of "professional construction, professional clustering, professional integration, and teaching reform".
Vice President Li Hongying said that Ji Wenbo International Fashion Design Institute has set up a good example of teaching innovation practice for the school, although it still faces many difficulties, but the step forward has transformed the traditional teaching mode into an autonomous and proactive learning state of students, and the college should be determined on this basis to deepen the teaching reform and promote the college to a new level.
Subsequently, Vice President Xiao Juntian, Director of Practical Teaching Management Center Zhang Guoan, and Dean of The School of Communication Li Jianjun put forward opinions and suggestions on the positioning and development of Ji Wenbo International Fashion Design College from different angles.
At the end of the meeting, Dean Ji Wenbo delivered a speech, and he summarized the exchange of this conference from three aspects: professional teaching team building, industrial innovation and social value.
