On January 25th, Liu Zhaolin's calligraphy and painting art exhibition opened in the fourth exhibition hall (Liu Zhaolin Art Space) of Yunjian Hall Culture and Art Center in Songjiang District, Shanghai. Mr. Liu Zhaolin is a representative figure in the calligraphy circle of Songjiang, engaged in the creation of calligraphy and painting for more than 40 years, creating a large number of fine works of calligraphy and painting, and his works have been exhibited in domestic and foreign exhibitions such as "Haipai Calligraphy Jinjing Exhibition", and published many albums such as "Grace in the Clouds - Liu Zhaolin Calligraphy Works Collection" and "Liu Zhaolin's Artistic Reflections". This exhibition is not only a combing and review of the essence of Liu Zhaolin's life's art, but also a spiritual inspiration for his change of law in his later years, just as he said in the preface: "Calligraphy is happy, a lifelong hobby, eighty years to set sail, and go to a higher level."
Shanghai has a profound art of calligraphy and painting, and there have been famous calligraphers and painters such as Lu Ji, Lu Yun, and Dong Qichang in history. Liu Zhaolin, who was born in Songjiang, Shanghai, regards Songjiang as the hometown of art and spirit, takes "art" as the basis of his career achievements, and uses these works to express his love for Songjiang and express his thoughts on art, culture and life.
