Official: Ai Fukuhara is the general manager of the WTT World Table Tennis Federation Japan

WTT Has officially announced that it has appointed Ai Fukuhara as the general manager of the World Table Tennis Federation Japan, who will be responsible for the development of the World Table Tennis Federation in Japan.

Commenting on the appointment, Ai Fukuhara said: "I have been involved in table tennis as a player since I was a child, and now I am very excited that the WTT World Table Tennis Federation recognises my achievements and experience. It is an honor for Liu Guoliang, Chairman of the WTT World Table Tennis Federation Council, and Steve Denton, CEO of the ITTF Group, to invite me to serve as the General Manager of WTT World Table Tennis Federation Japan. I will work for the players and contribute to meeting their most basic and urgent needs. ”

"As general manager of WTT World Table Tennis Federation Japan, I will have the opportunity to support the players and the whole table tennis family in different ways, and I hope to make the sport more dynamic. I think the WTT tournament has really done 'players at its core' and that will benefit the players a lot." At the same time, the current WTT set-up is also very cool, which I think is a great thing. I started playing table tennis at the age of three and have learned a lot from it over the years, and I also want to share my experience with the new generation of players and focus on their important needs and work hard for them. ”

As a Japanese table tennis legend, Ai Fukuhara has won a silver medal in the London Olympic table tennis women's team and a bronze medal in the Rio Olympic table tennis team, and in the World Table Tennis Championships, she has won 1 women's team silver medal, 4 women's team bronze medals and 1 mixed doubles bronze medal.
