Janet Jackson is clarifying all rumours about her, including rumors that she allegedly had a secret child with ex-husband James Debagh.
The 55-year-old musician spoke about the rumors in the second part of her upcoming Lifetime and A&E documentary, Janet.
Janet quelled all the rumors that she had a child and that one of her siblings had raised them as if they were her own.
"In the past they said I had a child and I kept it a secret," she said in peeking at the clip. "I can never keep my child away from James. How can I keep my children away from their fathers? I could never do that, that's not right. ”
She then went public with rumors she had heard: her niece Brandy was actually her daughter and she had given her "child" to Jackie's brother to raise, while Randy's brother's daughter Stevenna was actually her daughter because they looked too much alike.
Janet hinted that the rumors may have been that she started taking birth control pills, causing her to gain weight at that time.
"A lot of kids [in the Hall of Fame] thought I was pregnant because I gained weight and I started taking the pill," she shared. "Back then, you could pick up their weight and that's what happened to me. So this rumor began to circulate. ”
Janet, a two-night documentary event, will premiere at Lifetime and A&E on Friday at 8 p.m. ET/Pacific Time.
