Liu Shiju, female, born in February 1988, a member of the Communist Party of China, a village doctor in Yingtian Village, Longchang Town, Weining Autonomous County, was selected into the "Guizhou Good People List" in 2020, and was awarded the title of Honest and Trustworthy Moral Model in Bijie City in 2021.
In 2008, when Liu Shiju, who was still in school, first came to Yingtian Village, she promised everyone that she would open the first clinic in the village in the future in the face of the "isolated" mountain villages and the villagers who were "thirsty for medical treatment".
At the beginning of 2009, despite the resolute opposition of her parents, Liu Shiju gave up the opportunity to stay in the urban area and resolutely went to Yingtian Village to open the first clinic in the village, fulfilling the promise she had made and solving the difficulties of local villagers climbing mountains and wading through the water to seek medical treatment.
Over the years, Liu Shiju has served thousands of local people wholeheartedly. In order to facilitate entering the village, she also specially purchased cloth shoes that are easy to walk, visited dozens of local chronic disease patients and hundreds of children at night, and won the trust of local villagers and became the guardian of the health of the villagers with decades of sincere service.
