Klopp wrote to a student with advanced brain cancer, warning him and his family that "you will never walk alone"

According to the Mirror, a student named Owen Copeland was diagnosed with invasive stage 4 glioblastoma, and after learning of his condition, Liverpool coach Klopp wrote a letter to Copeland and his family, telling patients and families that "you will never walk alone".

Klopp writes, "We're all going to be with you, it's not just talk, it's something that really matters." When I listen to my players talk about what has helped them in difficult times, one of the things they all say is that the support of the club and the fans can have a big impact. ”

Klopp went on to talk about how he learned about Owen and his family and friends who have been doing everything they can to give him vital support. <b>The Red Army commander also wrote at the end of the letter: You will never go alone. </b>

Owen's sister Jane said the family was shocked when they received Klopp's letter. She said: "We think he must have learned about Owen through word of mouth, he is really a considerate person." When we read the letter to Owen, he was also shocked to learn who wrote it, and couldn't believe it was true. He didn't say much in that moment, but the look on his face said it all. ”

"<b>It's even beyond the realm of football, it's more about conveying the belief that 'you never walk alone' because that reinforces the love we see every day about him [Klopp]. </b>He wasn't expecting it, he was just very grateful for everything and everyone around him. ”

Last November, Owen Copeland was diagnosed with invasive stage 4 glioblastoma and saved his life by undergoing surgery for up to six hours last month. Unfortunately, despite weeks of treatment at Krattbridge Cancer Centre after surgery, the 20-year-old was told he would only live a few days. He and his long-time girlfriend have held a bedside proposal ceremony at his home, and his family is now doing everything they can to make Owen's life full of special moments.
