Beijing, January 26 (Xinhua) -- The World Curling Federation announced on its official website on the 26th that the lineup of all 30 teams that will participate in the curling competition of the Beijing Winter Olympics, most of the Chinese teams are newcomers, while the average age of other teams is greater than that of the Chinese team, including many Winter Olympic and World Championship champions.

In the men's side, the world's number one Swedish team is led by the 36-year-old Edin, who led the team to the silver medal at the PyeongChang Winter Olympics and the bronze medal at the Sochi Winter Olympics; the second-ranked Swiss team was rarely captained by second baseman Cruz; and the Turin Winter Olympic champion, 41-year-old Gushu, led the Canadian team to the Winter Olympics again in 16 years. The Chinese men's team includes team leader Ma Xiuyue, vice captain Zou Qiang, and team members Wang Zhiyu, Xu Jingtao and Jiang Dongxu.

Sweden is also ranked no. 1 in the world in women's curling, with Hasselberg captained. The 47-year-old veteran Jones will play the Winter Olympics after eight years, and she will lead the Canadian team to the "Ice Cube". The Chinese women's team is captained by "post-00s" Han Yu, and the team members include Wang Rui, Dong Ziqi, Zhang Lijun and Jiang Xindi.
Canada, ranked no. 1 in the world in the mixed doubles, sent the Hohmann/Morris combination to play. Morris, 43, was the Vancouver Winter Olympics men's champion and Pyeongchang Mixed Doubles champion, while Hohman won at the 2017 Beijing World Championships. The world's third-largest Norwegian couple, Skarslien/Nedgeten, will also join forces for the Beijing Winter Olympics.

According to the schedule, on the evening of February 2, the Chinese mixed doubles duo Fan Suyuan / Ling Zhi will challenge the world's second-ranked Swiss duo Perrett / Rios.
