Odin, an aristocratic boy from Asgard, had an endless thirst for knowledge, and even sacrificed one eye to get the wisdom to know everything.

Odin and his two brothers killed the giant Ymir and created the world with the dead Ymir. However, Odin always felt that he still had shortcomings in wisdom, so he tried his best to make up for it. After inquiring, Odin learned that there was a fountain of wisdom that flowed continuously in the territory of the giants, Jotunheim, and that it was his uncle Mimir who possessed this spring.
Mimir drinks a scoop of spring water every day, and after drinking it, he feels refreshed, wise, and becomes more knowledgeable every day than the day before. Odin pondered going to coddle his uncle, drink a bucket of wisdom spring water, and make up for his wisdom.
In order to keep a low profile, Odin put on a torn cloak and a torn hat and went to Jotunheim to find his uncle. After wandering around, mimir was finally found. But no matter how soft and hard Odin was, Mimir just wouldn't give Odin a spring of water.
Odin was very angry, but for the sake of this wisdom, he had to take a sip anyway. "Make a price, just take a sip." Odin thought that I had made this world, and I didn't believe that I couldn't get you a sip of water.

The sweet spring water flowed down his throat with the wisdom of the world into Odin's body, and Odin felt very satisfied.
