Wang Yuejiang, who has 32 years of party experience, is a locomotive cleaner in the Mudanjiang locomotive section and has been working in this position for 12 years. In winter, wang Yuejiang's important task is to clear the ice and snow in the lower part of the locomotive, and he is known as the "pedicure" of the locomotive. In May this year, Wang Yuejiang will retire, which is the last Spring Festival for his service locomotives.

In winter, a train rides between the black water and the forest sea snow fields in the ice and snowy northeast. When the locomotive comes back, it is often covered with frost. Especially on snowy days, the lower part of the locomotive will be wrapped in thick ice and snow.

Winter locomotive cleaning, not only for the sake of beauty, but more importantly for safety. Thick ice and snow will not only affect the work of quality inspectors, but also the moving parts and elastic parts of the lower part of the locomotive will be fixed by ice and snow for a long time, which will directly endanger the safety performance of the locomotive. Since the beginning of winter in 2019, Mudanjiang has ushered in several rounds of heavy snowfall. Wang Yuejiang and his co-workers were exceptionally busy, and the task was much heavier than usual. "A locomotive is cleaned normally for more than 20 minutes, and once it encounters snow, sometimes it has to be cleaned up for an hour, and the locomotives are cleaned one after another, and more than 40 locomotives have to be cleaned up in shifts." Wang Yuejiang said.

The structure of the lower part of the locomotive is very complex, and a lot of ice and snow are fixed on the wires, pipes and components, and brute force is not only ineffective, but also may damage the components. In some places, the gaps are small and deep, and they need to be drilled into the bottom of the car to clean up. These actual situations made Wang Yuejiang and his co-workers feel that there should be "weapons" in hand.

After continuous research and improvement, Wang Yuejiang and his co-workers made their own set of "golden equipment" one by one, including hooks, shovels, brazes, hammers, "wind guns" and other special "weapons". Wang Yuejiang also summed up a set of "ice-breaking and snow blowing secrets", first clear where to clear where and then clear, where to use shovels, where to use shovels, where to use rubber hammers, where to use wind pipes, all of which have been studied clearly.
