Wade: Garland should be named an All-Star Mobley is a lot like Bosh when he was younger

Live Bar January 26, 2019 When making a guest appearance on TNT's show recently, NBA star Wade talked about the young players in the Cavaliers.

Wade praised Garland, saying the latter should be named an All-Star this season.

"There are so many All-Star seats, and every year there will be beads, and we all know that, and we have expectations. But Garland's report card this season has been outstanding, and his performance is no less than anyone's. Wade said.

So far this season, Garland has averaged 19.7 points and 8.2 assists per game. Yesterday's game against the Knicks, he had 13 points and 12 assists, completing a double-double in scoring assists for the fifth consecutive game. According to statistics, he is the first player in cavaliers history since James (December 2017) to score assists and double-doubles in five consecutive games.

"Take stock of his performance this season, and any time when your name is put together with James, it shows that you're a very good player. So he should be on the all-star agenda. Of course, all-star positions are limited and competition will be fierce, but his performance deserves to be selected. Wade continued.

Wade also spoke about Markkanen and Mobley, saying he enjoyed watching the two of them play together.

"The Markkanen rookie played well with the Bulls in the season, but then was beaten into the cold, and now he's in the Cavaliers and has played a brilliant performance again. He's a great combination with Mobley, the latter being a younger version of Bosh, and I think Mobley is a lot like Bosh when he was younger. Wade said.
