Today, I would like to introduce you to a suspenseful and bloody suspense film that won the Golden Globe Award for Lifetime Achievement - "Man in the Labyrinth".
Originally, friends who had seen this movie reflected that it was extremely brain-burning. But I saw through the bugs of the movie at a glance!
Although the director claims to be The best-selling suspense thriller novelist in Italy, he should not have asked Hoffman to play!
This god-level actor who has acted in "The Graduate", "Midnight Cowboy", "Rain Man", and "Mr. and Mrs. Kramer" has even Tom. Cruise meets him, the light of acting skills will be completely covered up by the person, he appears in the movie, will ann divide the soy sauce? He has to be the protagonist! After the girl disappeared, because of the incompetence of the police, her parents approached a private investigator. At the time, the private investigator refused on the grounds that there was too little money.
However, 15 years later, on the day the news of the girl's recovery exploded on television, the private investigator learned from the doctor that he had a heart attack and would die without warning in minutes.
"Probably every day is the last day of life." This news stimulated him, and suddenly he found out in his conscience and decided to find out who had kidnapped the girl, so that more people would not repeat the same mistakes. It seems that man is dying, and his deeds are good.
The old man who plays this private detective may not be familiar to everyone because we don't import much Italian movies, but Tony. Servino was named one of Italy's greatest actors of the century by the extranet, a regular at various Italian film awards, and starred in 2014's "City of Absolute Beauty", which won both the Oscar and the Golden Globe Award for Best Foreign Language Film. This kind of strength to play a niche suspense film in everyone's eyes, is it not surprising? Surprised?
This old man was watching the news at the bar, and was picked up by another old man, you see, as long as there is charm, age is not a problem. It was Hoffman who had spoken to him, and he asked, who was the kind of person who kept nagging in front of others and could control their thoughts, and Selvino told him that he was a whisperer. Then this retired Hoffman, who has nothing to do at home and likes to play with mazes, watches the TV news and thinks about whisperers, and comes up with an evil idea.
It turned out that because of other crimes, when he was investigated by a female policewoman two days ago, he was too brave for a while and caught the female policeman. He was inspired by the return of the missing girl, and he decided to imprison the policewoman as well. What kind of perversion is this to get such inspiration? Shouldn't the inspiration of ordinary rich people be to ask a few more bodyguards to protect their children like flowers?
These two paragraphs are the last to be revealed in the movie, and I'm sorry I spoiled the timeline in advance. Because in fact, many friends said that they didn't know what was going on after watching it, so I think I told you in advance, and it wouldn't spoil the suspense of the story.

Sure enough, the private detective is more powerful, as soon as he heard the recording, he immediately ran to the tavern near the place of the crime, and accurately sat opposite the reporter who was drinking in the tavern.
So the police got the information that there was a transvestite enthusiast wearing a rabbit at the scene. Although he had never looked for anyone before, specializing in helping people find money, he was still very clever to immediately find the police department of the missing person, and it turned out that there were only two staff members here. One of the female police officers also went out to handle the case. The male police officer also carried a little girl with him.
The male police officer is very cooperative to help the private detective find out the missing person information that has been related to the rabbit. One is called Robin. Basso's boy, who had been kidnapped for a few days, had a changed temperament so much that his parents were reluctant to raise him and sent him to an abandoned home, where he had buried rabbits in the soil.
The private investigator runs non-stop to the abandoned nursing home to find clues, meets the retired cane grandmother, and gives him a copy of Basso's rabbit comic, and when he is confused about the cuteness of the comic, he is knocked unconscious by the cane grandmother.
When he wakes up, the private investigator finds himself locked up in the basement, and Basso is the Bunny Man. Too nervous during the escape, he only took the car keys and forgot his mobile phone. As a result, Rosso found his informant and killed her.
This story tells us that the mobile phone tool, although brushing the screen is always a waste of time, but lost minutes to leak the information of the people around them, no matter what the situation, can not be dropped.

After Rosso went to the hospital as he wished, the private investigator went to check on the gardener based on the information given by the doctor's (in fact, It was Rosso) wife.
When the private investigator went to the church where the gardener had been when he was a child, he found that there was an old priest in the church named Rabbit. It turned out that he was the one who had kidnapped Rosso when he was a child. And he himself has been kidnapped by the Bunny Man. That experience, which left him forever in the dark, was actually the result of stress traumatic sequelae, the result of the traumatic children who had been hurt not getting the psychotherapy they deserved, and the result of their parents' lack of scientific care and understanding of them. But they themselves do not know, but instead inflict their own wounds on other children, allowing the forces of darkness to pass on from generation to generation, and the pain from generation to generation. So although this Rosso is bad, the movie still gives the reason.
From this story, we can know how important it is for children to have psychological counseling after encountering an accident.
The private investigator went to Paul's residence based on the photos of Russell and his good friend Paul obtained in the church, hoping to know more about Rosso. Something that even Rosso's parents didn't want to know, the private investigator actually wanted to know. No wonder he was able to find out the truth in the end.
When he confronted Paul face to face, he discovered the truth of the matter. Rosso deceived him, in fact, Paul was a gardener, Paul never killed his informant, and when the private detective realized that Rosso stabbed himself in order to recapture the girl, he died of a heart attack.
Fortunately, he has a habit of recording in between cases. Paul gave the recording to the police, and the male police officers of the Missing Department arranged the scene according to the recording and caught Rosso. Then, the first two policemen in the film who don't do anything but lose their temper run out to grab credit.
The story on this line finally stayed, the girl was rescued without saying a word, and the doctor who enlightened her believed that she might not be able to walk out of the darkness in this life, and did not know whether she would become the next dark maker.
At the same time, the female police officer of the missing persons management department did not return after 2 or two days of investigating the case, but the two policemen were unwilling to file and investigate the case.

Then the story of the above line in the film is interspersed with another line: the story of the missing policewoman and the maze killer Hoffman fighting wits.
Earlier I said that Hoffman set up a maze based on the inspiration of the girl's 15-year disappearance, closed the policewoman, and then played the maze game like a trapped beast in a year. Sometimes, it is to unlock a maze and give a reward, sometimes, it is to feed some drugs, and then guide her to believe that she is the girl who has been missing for 15 years and was recovered, let the policewoman believe that Hoffman is the psychology professor, help her recall everything in the 15 years of abduction, and through her own language guidance, let the policewoman have various hallucinations, including watching herself die, and giving birth to a child in 15 years.
But one detail broke the defense.
Although in the 367 days of detention, she was often given various drugs that caused amnesia, but she remembered eating pizza one day a week. Italians promote their own pizza culture just like Koreans promote their own instant noodle culture.
Hoffman's conversation with the policewoman, in fact, at the beginning I was also deceived, I feel that this old man is really amiable. But his coffee position reminded me that this role is not simple, and, as a psychiatrist, his words are completely contrary to his action hints, so I have been saying to myself in my heart, there is a problem with this product, is it actually this person in the hospital bed, and did not escape. Thanks to the director, indeed.
As a result, once, she actually received a call from the pizza brother in the hospital room. The call made her realize she was still in the maze. So she ran out and really found Hoffman's monitoring room, understood the truth of everything, in fact, she was not rescued, nor was she a young girl who had been missing for 15 years, she calmly set out Hoffman's words, and then flew up a kick, stunned Hoffman, got the maze map, escaped from the ascension, and remembered her identity as a policewoman, and her own daughter.
Don't look at my introduction to Hoffman, but the main body of this line in the film is basically through Hoffman's inducing dialogue with the policewoman, who is actually the whisperer that the director tells us at the end of the film. And the director himself, that is, the whisperer.
This story tells us not to trust strangers who seem amiable and seductive, but to observe and judge carefully in the process.
In short, this film is a rare suspense masterpiece in terms of the script skills of the author of the best-selling thriller in Italy, the mature use of the two-line narrative, or the acting skills of the two film emperors, and the suspense of the story itself.
