"I tasted success" 500 word essay
Whenever I go to the pool to practice diving, I think of the time when I used to learn to dive.
I remember learning to swim when I was eight years old. At the time, I didn't learn well. That day, the teacher said kindly: "Today we learn to dive, who dares to jump first, after the jump, I will talk about it." The teacher's eyes were full of encouragement. I thought: Do I jump or not? At this moment, several people raised their hands, and I hesitantly raised my hands. "Okay, everybody come with me." The teacher happily led us to Oike (because there were many people raising their hands). I was so scared that there were 10 people, 9, 8, 7... Some of the people in front of me have succeeded, and some have failed. yes! Finally it was my turn, and I looked timidly at the teacher, whose eyes seemed to speak, as if to say: It's okay, it's okay if you fail. I kicked my feet, put my hands on my chest, and jumped down, unexpectedly, I actually choked, really unlucky.
"Okay, now I'll talk about it." The teacher still smiled and squinted. "Put your hands together on your chest, take a deep breath, crouch down, and stomp hard. Be careful, don't be afraid, that's the most important thing. Well, start, jump one by one. "This time, I must succeed, I have no timidity in my heart, but confidence." It was my turn again, and I crouched down, put my hand on my chest, took a breath, stomped hard, and jumped down. yes! I succeeded, I couldn't believe it was me who had just jumped, I opened my arms and shouted into the blue sky: "I succeeded!"
I tasted bitterness before success, and sweetness after success.
