The fat cop (Zheng Zeshi) is a good man, to his subordinates and to his superiors. He was approaching retirement age, but perhaps to support his family, he wanted to work for a few more years and have a good ending. He was almost everywhere and muddy, being a good old man, and people didn't like him, but no one hated him. Like his boss's attitude towards him.

The boss of Wang's assistant (Wang Minde) is a foreign policeman. In fact, he is a Chinese, but he is full of English, and his style is also very westernized. He was young, but he commanded many people, perhaps because of his strictness, but he was sometimes a little unsympathetic.

The Glasses Policeman (Lin Xiaofeng) is not much like a qualified policeman, who borrows usurious loans, interacts with the underworld, and thinks about bubble girls when patrolling. He didn't know the two policemen in front of him.

On this day, December 31, 1996, the three policemen turned into three injured policemen, and they finally came together.
