Miss Zhang, who runs a milk tea shop near the scene of the incident, said that the incident occurred at about 7 p.m., "public security, special police, ambulances all came, and someone was injured at the scene." Another witness to the scene, who did not want to be named, said that a gangster with a knife broke into the Mingchuang premium store and took hostages, and then the police rushed to the scene to deploy control, "snipers are also in place."
