
The "Multiple Perspectives" of the Shanghai International Film Festival is a window to showcase the latest works of filmmakers from all over the world, introducing the films that have been screened in the past year and this year to Chinese audiences for the first time, from which they can not only enjoy the customs and customs of various places, but also understand their unique culture through the films. Director Biswagit Bora is concerned with social and environmental issues and has made "carbon neutral" films that achieve zero carbon emissions during production. In this new work, he focuses on his hometown of Assam, showing the real daily life of the people in the Assam District suffering from floods, inconvenient transportation, and wild elephant infestations. On the Dutch island of Curaçao, 11-year-old kansa, between her atheistic father and a devout grandfather, is looking for her own path to adulthood.
